The set from Like a Virgin to Papa Don't Preach from the Blond Ambition Tour is by far the best of all shows she has ever done. I get chills with all the perfect transitions and story telling she act out on stage. Pure art. Maybe best live sequence by any artist in history, imo

She is the only female pop perfomer who can be called an artist!!! SHE IS A FUCKIN LEGEND!!! World will never forget you Madonna NEVER!!!!

This whole tour was groundbreaking and she kept going on- she had Donna and Niki who supported her. This show was a spectacle and I’m amazed she went through it. You have to have so much energy to do that.

What I love about Madonna - it's a fucking show she puts on

I am reading some comments about her voice sounding weak or bad here, but this was right after Like A Prayer which was a highly energetic performance. She was doing some crazy fast routines. Considering all that, I thought she did very well. It's not like all she does is stand and just move around a little throughout the concert. She moves around a lot and a lot of it is fast.

@mlccharlottex Umm... even a cursory reading of Oh Father makes it pretty clear that it's about a girl being abused by a priest or her biological father. No "taking responsibility" required on her part... whereas Papa Don't Preach is clearly about her in a consensual relationship. It would be unfortunate to dilute the power of Madonna's "confession" in Oh Father by making it a commentary on premarital sex when it's about something so much more difficult and profound.
