I knew Red when he was that teenager hanging out at the range with his dad and the rest of the SWAT team. The 20th Grp. guy he talks about is still a friend of mine and he got a kick out of this podcast when I sent it to him. Great dude, great career!

Great show. I was in the Marine Corps 92-99 and didn't know the history of Marsoc. It was interesting to hear how it was formed. Can't wait to check out other episodes.

Semper Fi Gentleman! I just came across this show, which has a new subscriber. I love the stories, which are very similar to mine. I was in army JROTC, wanted to do Army Special Forces, and Joined the Corps instead. I didn't know that there were different military branches growing up. Asked my Recruiter what part of the Army he was in, and He said WTF is wrong with you, son? I'm A Marine. Then I joined hahaha. I got out as a grunt, became a doctor, counselor, and chaplain, and now provide veterans counseling. I'm glad for the tools I received in the military

Indoc was just a screener to get to the force company. Typically you spent a minimum of 1 month in pre BRC (often 2-3 months) before you got a course slot.
