VN24 - 07/04/2021 - Luenen / Germany - After the fire on the property of a recycling company at the Frydagstraße, a truck at the nearby roadside had ignited due to the enormous heat radiation and had burst into flames. The day after, a salvage contractor had to tow away the burnt-out wreckage. To do this, the contractor first had to carry out residual work, such as disconnecting the vehicle battery and thus de-energizing the truck, as well as draining the diesel tank, which was full to the brim and had melted to a large extent. After that, the burnt-out tires were partially replaced and the tractor was separated from the trailer before both units could be towed away. A specialist company took care of cleaning the road.

Interessant: LKW komplett ausgebrannt, der Dieseltank ist noch voll - und auch die Aufkleber auf dem Auflieger scheinen eine gute Qualität zu haben.

Did not see any safety chains from the tow truck to the tractor. Also did not see a light bar on back of tractor or trailer. Are they not required in Europe?

I am glad other viewers spotted the mistakes as I have found with this company that Health and Safety does not exist but it still makes good viewing

They did use chains to secure the truck. The lights on the towed vehicle is such a thing, some use it, some dont

I did see two chains around the axle, but not a safety chain between the truck and the tractor.

Light bars are only fitted when the Police stop you and ask where it is!
Klasse Job. Wenn die da nach Stunden bezahlt werden zeichtet das die Kollmer Crew aber aus. Andere hätten sich bei Starkregen bestimmt verkrochen oder hätten erstmal Frühstück gemacht

Nice to see you giving then a hand with the tyre VN24 , but you'll never make the crew if you sit in the car when its rains. LOL . Two new faces on the Koller crew as well as the regular driver of the Beast not being there. Nice to see the Boss getting wet as well .

Ich würde mich etwas besser vor den Brandrückständen schützen, Stichwort Feuerkrebs. Aber Trotzdem sehr Intressant!!!
Es muy posible que este tipo de vehículo tuviera freno eléctrico de varios puntos y que se le quedará algún punto puesto de frenado calentándose el tambor y pegándole fuego o quizás alguna manguera de aire comprimido estuviera perdiendo aire y rozará los sistemas de frenado . Un falló técnico.

Прицеп пошёл на переплавку а не бак как написано в описании . Бак из стали а часть прицепа из алюминия

We had just a truck fire carrying chemicals on a 'Motorway' near where I live. Took nearly half a day to put out, then the Police insisted on their 'Lab Boys' going over it to find out the cause - waste of time, as it was only a 'burnt out wreck' - literally. The recovery crew found after the Police left it had melted the road surface and sunk in, - In the end they just lifted the whole thing onto a 'low-loader' and took it away that way, - after the Council had dug it out of the road surface. Total time taken (including re-surfacing the 'Motorway') 10 days. They never did say publicly what the cause was, - officially the lorry was owned by "A Government Dept."
Wir konnten nicht gleich wegfahren, jetzt nimm weg was übrig ist...
