Numerous Thunderstorms have caused some disruptions for the 4th of July holiday at the Jersey Shore this weekend bring tropical downpours , numerous lightning and flooding along the Jersey Beaches. While filming from our deck I had a lightning bolt hit the side of our house setting of the fire alarm briefly. Also holiday shore traffic as numerous streets flood in Sea Isle City, New Jersey.

This has been a constant theme recently in Jersey. Even a thunderstorm, our streets are flooding. Hope everyone is okay.

Despite the flooding... This makes me miss the many years spent growing up at my grandparents shore house on 4th of July 💖 TY for sharing!
Wow...it's been crazy here in southern NJ last few days. Sea Isle was the spot back in my late teens and early 20's. Parents had a place in Ocean View Campground on Rt. 9 for 25 years. Sea Isle always had great fireworks on the 4th. Could sit right on the beach and watch them. Good times and great memories. Stay safe. Happy 4th everyone.

Some people including myself like to swim in the floodwaters when it is deep enough near the shore! It's fun, the water is always warm and clean! (the grass and dirt act like a filter to trap harmful bacteria, making it safe to swim in!)
That Sky & crack of thunder/lightening was crazy! Beautiful shot of the beach 💥
I live in SIC and was there for that storm. What those idiots flying through that standing water is that storm happened at high tide. That water is partially SALT water from the Bay. Salt water is not real good for your Tonka Truck or Jeep undercarriage. Also the wake you create helps to flood garages near that standing water and is a ticket able offense. Thanks for the video, I also watched the power of nature from my deck that afternoon. Love SIC!

Do you know if any places around 14th street got damaged?I have an elderly relative living up that way. Haven't heard anything from the family so I'm curious
Post 10 would have drained this flood in 2 seconds
