North Sentinel Island.. Read HERE:
amzn.to/36iOSX8
North Sentinel Island is one of the Andaman Islands, an archipelago in the Bay of Bengal which also includes South Sentinel Island. It is home to the Sentinelese, a tribe who have rejected, often violently, any contact with the outside world. They are among the last uncontacted people to remain virtually untouched by modern civilization.
North Sentinel island is not only defended to this day by its warriors but also by rough and unpredictable seas, aided and abetted by a nearly unbroken ring of treacherous coral reefs. The reefs make the island all but inaccessible by sea for 10 out of 12 months and fairly dangerous to approach during the remaining two. The island has long been known and feared by sailors for its manifold defenses. Decades would pass between visits, with the Sentineli living their simple lives dreamily undisturbed - for the moment.
Unrecorded successful landings are likely but they cannot have been numerous. Occasional poachers landing on the island and contributing to the continued hostility of the Sentinelis are a distinct possibility. It would be one explanation for the inexplicable changes in Sentineli behavior from one visit to the next, not too far from downright friendly one time, violently and implacably hostile the next. Shipwrecked sailors may also have caused trouble on the island from time to time throughout its history. As late as March 1970 a wreck was spotted on a coral reef off the SE coast of the island. On inspection it was found to have been lying there for 7 or 8 months. There was no sign of the crew.
At least one escaped Indian convict from Port Blair is known to have made his way to North Sentinel Island in 1896. Two others with him were drowned on the reefs surrounding the island. The lone survivor's luck did not hold: he was killed by the Sentinelis and left on the beach where his body was spotted and retrieved by a visiting British party.

This makes me wonder how North Sentinel civilization has changed after contact with the outside world. I feel like there are popular rumors and legends among the Sentinelese about a “mysterious alien people” and the outside world. Who knows, maybe one day, someone from the island will be compelled to explore beyond the island.

They also don't want to be with us they have tried many times to make contact but they aren't having it. Why would they want to be with us anyways if they ate out of the grocery stores we have for a few years they would all become obese and then if they had phones and television they'd all become unintelligent and lazy. Tbf the North Sentinals got the advantage of living in an isolated island surrounded by sea . They got their own eco system. So anyone wanting to make interaction really has to go through many hurdles. Which lot of tribe on lands didn't got. They do come in contact with mordern humans time to time. Hence you will see them despite living in tribal way they still wearing modern clothes especially the children. This is enterily absent from this island. They r truly untouched by modernity. It's fascinating to think what culture, flora, fuana flourishing there. As much I am curious to know I hope their uniqueness don't get corrupted by outside. The people who want to convert them make me sick.

Maybe for them the narrative is more fitting than a ’sky daddy’ as some may say because it can be seen with our very own eyes. It's not like the whole world revolves around ’Jesus’ so maybe leave them alone for another 60 thousand years unless sea level actually rises ahead of time.

0:38 - Right next to the engine you can see a crescent shaped beach with a small bay. This is located on the northwest portion of the island. At the extreme north end of that little section of the beach on the very lower edge of the screen there would be the remains of a shipwreck that ran aground in 1981. This was one of the very few encounters with the tribe from outsiders, and it shouldn't be surprising that it didn't go well. You can also spot this same shipwreck in satellite photos of the island on Google Maps. In the 40+ years since the shipwreck it is believed that the tribe has since started harvesting metal from the ship for tools.

@@deeznuts4777 'make it a destination place'. Are you out of your mind? This Island is not a plain piece of real estate. It's home to the native tribals. Indian anthropologists had tried establishing contact with them, but the Sentinelese reacted very aggresively. It was a simple and clear message from their side that they want to be left alone, hence after a few unsuccessful attempts(including Nat Geo crew) India decided to ban any form of travel, including researcher teams to the Island. It's under the protection of India and whoever tries to go there will get jailed. They propably have a very bad image of outsider humans, as British Colonialists had twice landed on the Island. They did a little massacre, kidnapped 2 grandparents and a kid to 'study them'. However both the elderly adults soon caught diseases because they didn't have immunity to foreign diseases because of their isloation, and the kid(who survived) was sent to the Island. The tribals would have ofc considered this as an evil action.
