they loved that building
If you ask me, dr. thrax is the strongest of all the GLA generals, toxins are just so good in this game, even a bunch of toxic rebels is enough to take down an overlord and they beat any infantry with no effort. And its very easy to defend with toxic tunnels.

Its easy when you it a little. But its hard if you want it to be super tough without cheating
