Hell yeah. I love that the meaning you get from the theme changes as the characters evolve too. It's such a good character theme that just screams composure or "I'm better than you, get a grip if you wanna keep up."

I saw originally Ashita no Joe 2, I belive, it was in the 90s, when my father rented a VHS for me, back then I did not even know what anime was , and the VHS was titled Rocky Joe. I was amazed with the few episodes I saw. Two weeks ago I remembered this anime for no reason, and I searched for the episodes in the internet, I was not aware that there were Season 1 and 2 , I am currently watching season 1 where Joe is in Jail, so emotive, and every time this song plays it gives me the chills. Reflects of a different society, overall

When I go to jail this will be my entrance theme. 👍

His developtment st that point is just a angry childish prick and how bad we want Rikishi to beat the shit out of Joe But after that and seeing how Joe takes Rikishi's death. We take more empathy and start liking Joe more and more.

Nah, Rikiishi is literally the Ashita no Joe's Takamura, just go back at the episode when he snapped and went on a rampage because of how unbearable his weight cut was going, it reminds me of Takamura's weight cut for the Hawk's fight so much, this inspiration can't be a coincidence i cant believe it

las prisiones juveniles de Japón de esa época eran para menores de 21 , Joe cuando entra tiene 15 y Rikiishi 21 cuando muere Joe 17 y Rikiishi 23 . Curiosidad: Joe muere con 20 , Yoko al comienzo de la serie tiene 20 , la primera vez que aparece Nishi tiene 18 , se supone que Tange boxeaba en los 30s en la primera serie así que tiene cerca de 60...... este tipo de cosas salen en el manga pero no en la serie..... que tengas buen día :D

確かにこれは力石のテーマなんだけど、歌じゃなくてＢＧＭの方なのね。ま、歌の方は確か二番の歌詞の中に視覚障害者の所謂…今では差別用語となる言葉が入っているので、なかなか日の目を見ないところがあるからな。

力石のテーマ曲と言ったらこれだよね。申し訳ないけど歌はいらない。

なんて小っ恥ずかしい曲。こんな曲があるなんて知らなかった‼️きっと歌詞ついたらもっと小っ恥ずかしいんだろうな
