I watched this live on Ryan Hall Y'all. Prayers for all. I'm most thankful that we have improved early warning systems that have most likely saved many lives, as people have disaster preparations ready, as this family did with their underground shelter. I hope that they can salvage those gorgeous wooden floors. This was an extraordinary tornadic outbreak yesterday, and it's supposed to be more of the same today. I'm thankful for all of the meteorologists, storm chasers, first responders, and all of the everyday ordinary people who are there to help out one another. It saves and improves lives, even in the midst of disasters like this. The example of the best of all of humankind that unites us. If we could remember that this is what matters even in those days free of crisis we could really create an amazing world for all. ❤

During WWII many feared war, today we fear weather. Why can't we learn to build safe places in homes and plan for floodings too!? I don't get the whole industry! And if anyone does come up with an idea, its too expensive for everyone to have a safe place! Why? So sad that many will never have value enough to be helped to prepare for natural disasters. I hope one day, like this family had a safe place, many others will have them too! It's a need. Insurance should help us all have them!!! Government should help us all have them! It's not about money. If it is than we have lost our way! Seriously! Thank GOD many made it through that serious day!
