It’s a great album. I actually didn’t fancy it to much from the first few listens but one thing I’ve learnt from listening to the Weeknd is that his songs grow on you and sound better the more you listen to them, now it’s one of my go too’s. They probably just haven’t listened to it enough.

I found a few I really enjoyed from trilogy and kids land and would listen to them cause the others didn’t speak to me at the time, but as time went on I started listening to the other tracks more and more and now I live pretty much everything from both of them

@@JD-jz5gu yeah same bro, that for sure happened to me with trilogy. It happens with a lot of songs I listen to. There’s songs that stand out with the first listen for example blinding lights has a catchy tune to it and you’ll usually like it after the first if not second listen & then there’s other songs that need like 3-4+ listens before you start to feel the groove of it, they’re usually the songs that are most enjoyable to.

Definitely my favourite from this album. When I heard it first, I thought he was talking about a woman in his life. But after all this time and coming back to listen to it, I think this song is him talking to himself. He's talking about never being able to go back to a 'normal' life because of who he is now. He made the decision to pursue the fame and fortune, and now he'll never see the face of a normal life anymore. That's who the 'she' is in this song - the life he'll never get back. But that's okay, because he adapted anyway.

Kissland was peak the weeknd , after that he became worldwide but everything before that is just a pure masterpiece. No one came into the game as hard as him cuz he brought a new flow/beat, the darkness and the realness. Kissland was so dark that i couldnt understand most of the album but as i grew older i could relate more and more and all i can say is that 22 years old able was too woke for his age.

Despite the song Kiss Land being one of his greatest songs, I much prefer this song over any other in the album. This song is so beautiful, dark, depressing and overall soothing. This has the exact trilogy vibes, but with lyrics that ties around the Kiss Land album (if that makes any sense). This song was meant to be for this album since Kiss Land was about The Weeknd finding himself and how he’s changing.
