I saw ZZ Top back when Gibbons had no beard, short hair and wore a cowboy hat. I went to see Deep Purple and ZZ was the opening act. Despite me being a Purple fan The Top was the better band that night and I became instantly a life long fan.

Beck has spent the later part of his years playing with and highlighting new and old talent. One of the five founding fathers of modern rock - post 50's. Clapton, Beck, Page, Hendrix, Van Halen. Beck is still revered and still playing and it does my heart good. I love the way Beck is so generous on stage and allows new talent to shine in the sun. Old talent just makes it that much more fun! Claudio Cisneros True. But Tal had only been playing bass for 5 years when she joined Beck, and that was at Vinnie's suggestion, so obviously he thinks a lot of her playing. Meanwhile, Vinnie had done years with Zappa, Gino Vannelli, Sting and so many others. My point - really - is that Tal is one of the most musical and relevant players we have seen in years. That EAug9 power chord is the cat's meow ~ hats off to Hendrix for converting a jazz chord to a rock chord. Gibbon's voice does the song justice and his classic lead lines are in good voicing. Jeff Beck is also slamming that chord in unison with Billy and adding his Beckian brand of lead guitar. Billy keeps the traditional Hendrix feel on lead while Jeff, always innovative does his own thing. It is a unique team effort. Then again, Foxey Lady fuckin rocks!!!!

It's okay we're only human and as humans we naturally slow down. But if a classic artist is still alive people want to see them. Remember that old song, "There's nothing like the real thing" For me it's still a thrill (although I've worked in music forever) to see original artists. Anyway I thank you for being so kind and apologizing, you must be a great girl.

SabuPtolemy Of course!
Excellent!
Jeff Beck has been inducted 3 times in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! His first induction was the Yardbirds, in 1986 during the 7th induction at Radio City Music Hall presented by The Edge. His second one was The Jeff Beck Group in 1997 during the 18th induction and was presented by Bruce Hornsby. And his 3rd one was solo career in 2009 during the 30th induction, and was presented by Prince at Dolby Theatre.
so special, so iconic.. Great fun!! 2 of the best!! Tal really built a great resume!
Billy is the man to play anything Hendrix!
could you imagine a jam between beck and jimi holy shniekesssss
❤ just love those suttle grins Jeff gives but just for a second then it's back to work, if you look close at the beginning I think most of that was all Jeff and not rehearsed, then right into foxy lady..Nice and smooth ❤
Elle est terrible Miss Tal Wilkenfeld !! toujours le sourire !! Une tueuse !! (Elle aussi !)
Freakin' AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
Top shelf talent
This is too awesome... I love watching Jeff Beck play with another great - it makes each one's unique style and approach to playing come out so well!
AWESUM
Hearing Billy play this (if I didn't know better) I'd think it was a ZZ Top original.

Nice song. Thanks for sharing!!!
What a drummer !
Billy Gibbons is one badass motha!!!
"Hendrix Heaven" with Billy Gibbons & Beck:))
Some of the best paying tribute to one of the best. If you don't have the dial turned up to ten and broken off, you're not doing it right.
jeff beck billy gibbons the best players of the electric rock guitar by all times !
Jimi once said that Billy Gibbons was the best guitarist he ever heard and gave him a pink Stratocaster.

Thats how Jimi shrugged it off... it was very cool of Jimi (for those who can read) ;) Although Gibbons is very cool and can shred anybody's... ! but Hendrix is Hendrix :)

@@bluesque9687 Beck, Clapton, Blackmore are the greatest guitarists, but Hendrix is ahead of them, as if you are walking the same road with him, but he is so much ahead of you that you can hardly see him Brian May
And like is not enough, more they are laughting while their play , Great tribute to Jimi H
Hard core, baby.
My band when i was in High School opened for ZZ top in Denton Texas....got to know the reverend through the biz for a while...always a gentleman....plays ok too!!!....lol...Great rhythm section too there.....

Too much musical over analysis. Just enjoy music for what it is. Don’t turn it into a science.
Gibbons for President!
Jeff Beck is on another level..
100% rock and roll!!!!
Foxy Lady---♪ 最高だね。 時々見せるJeff Beckの可愛い仕草も見れたのでなおよし!笑
Fantastic,i i thought only Jimmy Hendrix Can perfirm the best , Fantastic guitarists
as old and gnarley looking as Billy is Jeff is actually 5 years older ... awsome video two great guitar players together
I really adore much of Vinnie Drummer´s work, but I do believe he killed all the Soul in this Classic...
Love it!
I've seen this several times. Wow.
If only Jimi was still alive to lead this jam...

True, I personally think SRV played Hendrix better then Hendrix himself because Jimi said straight up "I'm not the best"

@Jrocket971 to be honest one of the most charismatic timbre rock n roll has ever had they should conserve it in the museum
Billy rules
It's okay we're only human and as humans we naturally slow down. But if a classic artist is still alive people want to see them. Remember that old song, "There's nothing like the real thing" For me it's still a thrill (although I've worked in music forever) to see original artists. Anyway I thank you for being so kind and apologizing, you must be a great girl.
Great jam
