(011) Install Air Box/BMC Race Air Filter: 21-24

This video is dedicated to the 21-24 #NinjaZX10R Transformation Modifications Video Series. In this video I'll be plugging the bottom of the Air Cleaner Housing with the PSR Plug then install the housing with a BMC Race Air Filter. I also permanently install the Steering Damper afterwards.

Just had to comment and thank you for the effort and detail you went into documenting this. As a 2021 owner I had to stumble through a lot of this stuff that you articulated, wish I had your videos back then. High value content.

Thanks for the videos. Never did this kind of work on my own bike. Just got a 2023 zx10r and did most of the upgrades you did and all the details helped me a lot.

Excellent quality vid that will be helpful to others that are building a 10. This bike is clearly being built to be fast. The stock steering damper isn't up to the task and is unsafe at speed. It has Kawasaki spec internals not Ohlins. They are swappable.This is a fantastic upgrade that can keep you from high speed wobbles. Best thing I did for my bike. Not trying to be a know it all just trying to help you avoid the same problem I had.

Thanks a bunch for the insight on the damper. This is probably all I'll do to this bike except for the OEM heated grips and cluster screen protector. Putting that on this week. I have the same steering damper on my 2016 H2 (14K miles) and haven't had any issues with either. I'll probably never go as fast as the bike can go. Technique on gripping at high speeds is also a factor. Either way, your comment is valuable. The ZX10 and ZX14 are going to Talladega in couple weeks. Hoping to get some great video.
