    Thanks - Superb presentation. I found the 0.001-inch "click" accuracy amazing. Your vacuum demo with the dado well worth it. Now going to forgo the purchase of a Kreg and buy an Incra lower end package, then upgrade more later. Best

    It makes beautiful half blind dovetails and it does it quick and easy, once you set it up, which only takes a few minutes. not only did I make new drawers for my kitchen, I then did the same for all the bathroom vanities. I then went around looking for more drawers to make (it was comical). I made new drawers for my garage cabinets. I just love this unit. I am retired and I am having a ball making things. It may be a bit pricey to buy, but it is a solid unit that will last for many years. I plan to leave it to my son after I am gone. The only thing I can see that may need replacing is perhaps the router itself. Even good ones don't last forever. So yea, I am happy with it and intend to use it to make things (not just drawers) for years to come.

I have decided the set you displayed is the one for me. Good to know information. Please continue with more great videos. Thanks from a new subscriber.

    Good Job! I think you might have missed comments on your insights, sometimes. Maybe because you thought those were not important! They are to me! I have a 52-inch TS-LS positioner with a Wonder Fence and I get you on the right-side gray-space. Also, I'm almost from the start, tired of always needing my table saw in the middle of a router operation so I want to separate the two tools. I'm almost sold on the Incra table and the extra positioner I'll need.

    I ordered pretty much the entire system on the 7th of March 2016 and have yet to see it shipped. There is a bit of a wait because of demand I guess. Here is what I ordered and I can't wait for it to be devlivered! Here is my list: #1- The table, table top and the 25 inch LS Wonder system, #2- The Porter Cable Router 75182 motor (not sure if 3 or 3.25 hp as varying specs have me guessing until I see in my own hands)... #3- The Incra PRL V2 router lift setup, #4-the Wixey remote digital readout and a collet or so for flexibility. I've decided against the dust collector for now as the Aluminum extrusion table framing allows for I think 1/2 inch plywood or such material for custom framing of the table its self. I ordered a no wheel setup because I'm going to make my own mobile base. I think I paid close to $1400 with discounts/taxes/shipping/10% this and that... Be warned, your wife may not be as forgiving as mine and don't forget to get some tooling!!! :)

    +Webendowed Hey buddy. Yea it's a great setup. You're gonna love it but they usually are pretty backed up on production. Well worth the wait though. I think you made the right choice on the mobile setup. I'm not impressed with mine to be perfectly honest. If I was to do it again I would skip it too. The dust collection on the other hand I love. I have it setup to suck both from the wonder fence and the Cleansweep. Makes a huge difference. As far as tooling I have a bit of an illness and collect more crap over the years. I probably have 100 Router Bits. lol. Oh yea btw, it's a wonderful thing having an understanding wife. Makes it easier to spend all that money Let me know how you like the digital readout

  • @Webendowed

    I did seriously consider the dust collection system but I can craft the same thing at a more reasonable price with both hose options and say "I did it myyyyy waaayyy!!!' (little musical note there :) ) Take care and I will let you and your viewers know what I think of the digital readout system when this thing finally arrives.

    TS-LS seems like overkill for a router table-but a nice setup with the the lift and table.

  • @dahut3614
    @dahut361411 ай бұрын

    Okay, I finally got a router table, seven years later. Actually, it's a work in progress. I picked the Jessem Master-Lift Excel II with the wheel on the side to raise and lower the router in the Jessem phenolic table. I really wanted the Incra Cleansweep with the MagnaLock rings, but I guess I wanted the wheel more. I just ordered the Jessem TA fence for too much money and I just need to get a micro-adjust for the fence, which seems like it should come with it for that price. I had bought the Bosch MRF23EVS 15 amp router because I read on some forum that it was the same diameter as the 12 amp router, but it is too big and won't fit the lift. So I have to make three 6mm spacers and jump through some hoops to get the switch to work, since it is in the fixed-base handle, which needs to be removed to put it in the lift.

  • @dahut3614

    @dahut3614

    11 ай бұрын

    That's *four* spacers. I had to mill down the 0.246-inch thick "6mm" aluminum that I bought at Amazon to 0.222-inches and bent them into a slight V-shape on the press brake at work- about a 150° obtuse angle. With the spacers, it now tightens in the 4.2-inch Porter Cable configuration! There is a removable aluminum ring on the Jessem table (no plate) which holds the insert rings that is 5.23-inches in diameter and 3/8-inch thick. If someone could tell me the diameter of the Magnalock rings (and the distance across the "magnet bumps"), maybe I could make a custom ring that could fit the Magnalock rings...

  • @dahut3614

    @dahut3614

    11 ай бұрын

    It looks like about 4-13/16-inch across the "magnet bumps" and 4-3/16-inch on the round part. This is small enough to fit. I went to the Rockler store to measure the rings in the Incra Lift that fits Rockler tables. This is accurate to the extent that I could measure using a tiny keychain tape measure with not-as-young-as-they-used-to-be eyes!

    the first thing you have to do is learn how to use the scales and rulers with the cross hair system. I threw my Biesemeyer fence in the corner and replaced it with an Incra system many years ago. I also scratch built down draft dust collection boxes for both tables. you need to get the ring set before you loose a finger or a 2x4 down the hole

I've got the same Incra 27" x 43" Table, stand, and LS-25 Super System along with the Incra Mast-R-Lift 11 router lift + all the clean sweep metal rings and standard metal rings, Incra wheel kit, and the JessEm power switch. However I do not have the Clean Sweep Dust Cabinet yet. How do you like your Incra Dust Cabinet, and are you glad that you purchased it? Any problems in accessing your router's speed control through the Clean Sweep access door? I have a Bosch 1617EVS router in my Incra Mast-R-Lift 11 lift. Cheers from Ontario Canada.

    I really like this system, but think I would prefer a wider table for longer pieces. Does that seem legitimate or is that just analysis paralysis?

  • @royalsbuilt1216

    @royalsbuilt1216

    8 жыл бұрын

    +Dahut I wouldn't say it was paralysis by analysis. It really boils down to preference. A longer table would help support a larger piece, but at the same time as long as the piece registers against the bit, you wouldn't have an issue no matter the size of the table. Think about a router base. It's maybe 6 inches across, but if the bit registers correctly, the cut will be clean. Besides you can always use an outfeed roller ;)
