Yes! I love EA Ermor too. I like the lore, 18 map move troops, being a human nation in EA, communions and recuperating sacreds.

Excellent! I hope to do them justice, but at minimum you'll learn about a few things not to do! :D

Loving the expanded nation/build overview! I'm a sucker for these types of videos when I'm looking into new nations so this is a great addition to that particular research list :D I especially like that you folded in impressions on potential changes you'd like to make for future builds as well. Most playthroughs I've seen save that sort of analysis until after the end of the game so it was cool to get a bit of that upfront like this. Looking forward to the game!

Thanks, yeah people do seem to love the overview videos - myself included. I do plan on eventually doing formal overviews of nations, but I would like to actually win a game with said nation (or, emmmm, at all) before holding court on an appropriate way to play it!

I love Ermor as well, I just don't play them too well. I expand well with good scales then I can't figure out enemy sacreds and die. But the Gladiators work very well as extra bois from left over resources to help expand.

Yeah, EA Ermor can definitely be weak early in the game. Its troops are good, but can't defend you against many EA sacred builds. With a strong enough bless, I do think Equite of the Sacred Shroud can carry you through all but the most egregious hell blessed sacreds but you end up sacrificing scales that EA Ermor really, really wants for its excellent recruit anywhere mages. I personally would like to try either a dormant titan or possibly an awake researcher as alternate approaches, but I can't speak to their efficacy and I think the early game will always be a nervous time for EA Ermor.
