In this video, I’ll show you how I replace the lock actuator on the driver side, in the attempt to do so, I actually broke off the plastic piece that holds the door rod on the inside off the door panel that holds the door handle itself, and I do so that too.
Actuator lock assembly can be purchased at

These are not cheap, but you can go to a junk yard, but why waste time on a used one, it could lead to the same issue down the road.

Your interior tripped me out so much 😂 I had to rewind to confirm what the exterior of your car looked like
I just replaced the driver side door actuator with a genuine Lexus part and now I am having locking/unlocking issues. The key fob will work once and then stop working for a minute. Within that minute, I cannot lock or unlock the door with the physical key in the keyhole. After a minute or so, the key fob will work again once before not working for another minute. I replaced the battery on the 2nd fob with a brand new one and it did not fix the issue. When I use the door lock switch inside the car, it works flawlessly, locking and unlocking the driver's side door as well as the other doors without hiccups. This should mean that the rods were correctly installed. Before I changed the actuator, all the locks worked with key fob aside from the driver side. The driver side would work 50% of the time so I would just use the physical key to lock. I replaced the part with 69120-53030, but I realize that you used is 69120-553050. My build date is 07/03 so the 69120-53030 should be fine according to LexusPartsNow, it is for models 07/01-08/03.
do you know if the rear will be similar? i may need this video to refer back to in the near future.

It’s the same concept, I haven’t really look at it yet, just very little space to work with compared to driver/passenger front.
Have an important question do you know if the door lock actuators can cause issues with the alarm going off at randoms times???

I replied just the motors. Did 3 doors cost $15 for 3 of them. Pain in the ass. But they all work. If you crack open that black case you can order the motor for $5 each. They just snap in. Ordered 5 more because of have 3 Lexus's
How did you put back the plating from the door handle that fell out 9:26
