My brother recently picked up speedrunning this game and AUF is still as silly and fun as it was back in the day.

Awesome. I didn't know aleckermit was modding this game, I love Agent Under Fire . also a bond-a-thon would be the coolest thing ever, better get practising Fitter ;-).

Bond-a-thon is something i've been considering for a long time. I don't own all the 3D 007 games, but i'm looking for them. I really want to get a copy of The World Is Not Enough since that game looks really fun. It would take a long time to run every 007 game but I would totally do it.

Even the menu music changed too

Btw fitter, I did not remove armor from Fire & Water or Med. Crisis because I felt they were difficult enough already. I knew you wouldn't have too much trouble with them because you're very familiar with the game but new players will still struggle with them (especially without skips). Also I noticed you mentioned the flashing effect when you get shot... I hadn't even thought about that being annoying but I will look into maybe removing it for a future release if it looks ok without it.

That makes sense. Those are definitely the two hardest levels so it makes sense to keep them the same. Removing the white flashing would be an awesome addition to the mod, if that was possible. Or at least having the option to remove it. Maybe you could also add options to remove screen shaking if there is a setting for that. I've gotten used to it but i could see how some people would find those things annoying.

my twitch name is FitterSpace. I stream almost every day. Usually Nightfire speedrun attempts but I like to play all the other 007 games, too. Sometimes i stream myself working on the goldeneye wii TAS but i haven't streamed that lately

Yes. It was made by aleckermit. He used a hex editor to do most of the modding.

I must say I hated that bobbing with the flash effect when you get hit in this game. And that pretty much everything gives you a Bond move and them music cues get annoying because of that.

Yeah those are the two most annoying things about this game. Thankfully, the mod fixes the bond move problem. Hopefully a later version of the mod will fix the white flashing and screen shaking.

So, we agree at least with something. Somewhat interesting mod we have here, too bad I can't run a GC emulator without huge lag (at least NF did that) and I don't own a CG. When darts got mentioned it actually reminded me about me actually getting a legit 300.000 points in Bad Diplomacy once. Only mission I have that the legit way.

I actually tried to do some perfect score attempts. I got really close on Trouble in Paradise but never got the 300,000. I think my best score was 298,000

FitterSpace Still better than my high score (273,382). The next highest score under 300,000 I've gotten is 275,292, which is on mission 3. (Mission 5 has 301,020 and mission 12 has 318,766, both with glitches.)
