I've been practicing this in the shadows and was only expecting to beat the current WR of 40:21 by about 10-15 seconds but today I absolutely crushed the record with this run thanks to no sizeable mistakes and nailing virtually every timesaver. Note: A time adjustment of -13 seconds was applied to the final time to match the load times of a disc on black Wii (the fastest official method of loading the game). This adjustment allows runs on any emulator/console to compete equally despite their varying load times. You'll also notice there is no white screen flash when I take damage, this is an approved code modification (the only one) due to the flash's irritating strobe-like effect on the viewer's eyes that can potentially cause irregular brain activity in epileptic people.

Not really the video to post this on, but this brings back so many memories. I played the first 5 or 6 levels of this game so many times as a kid. But I don't think I ever got past Cold Reception until like... 15 years later. Loved the heck out of what I played, though. And it still holds up!

The intense pressure starts in Fire & Water and never let's up. I think I hide it well but trust me I'm shaking the whole second half of the run.

have you ever thought about doing a pacifist run of AUF, trying to complete the game with as few kills as possible.
The PPK looks amazing.. until the golden upgrade ruins its aesthetics :c

Not in this playthrough it doesn't. It wastes a little time to get a high enough score for the Gold P2K and the only benefit is an 18% damage increase which likely wouldn't save time anywhere.
Hell of a run man!
