I think from date for the visitor visa should be the date you entered Canada, and the to date should be based on the length of stay decided by the border staff. The guide says to Fill in the dates (From - To) you have been living in your current country of residence.

Since I’m acting as her representative, I changed that (passport) mailing address to my Canadian address. But, when I hit save it automatically pick-up previous/old address’s district name, and grey out.

I had the same issue, look like it is a bug in the website. Your comment looks a bit old so I would assume you have taken care of that, what I did was change the country and saved it again and then erased the current information and re entered the desired country address.

I just wonder, when you look your passport, mostly name is written by Capital letter （like BOB SMITH）, but when you put on to file, does it matter? or If I change to "Bob Smith", it's still consider 'same as passport'?

Hi I have applied for work permit under employer specific ( exemption from labour market impact assessment ) and for my husband applied for open work permit under temporary residence and last Saturday my GC key got revoked and I created new account and I linked mine and my child application to new one but my husband's iam not able to link ,first I selected the temporary residence then work permit and extension after all that I given my UCI id and application no ,then there is an option for open and employer specific work permi ,there I selected open work permit , at last they are asking which situation applies to the applicant ,here what should I submit , I have tried many of the options but unfortunately not able to link , please reply🙏 here are the options

Hi i appririatte ur videos i have a question i subbmitted my application on june 21 2023 i got an email on the 24 of August 2023 that my pr portal has been updated when i touched the button view i have seen everything else say completed ( like bionetrics becouse i once did bio and its valid for 10 years ,the police certificate, the chatts, the marrige certificatte, the pictures of honeymoon, the second trip approve that he came to me like bording pass& pictures together weather at the airport or a day out together and allot of things which i cant remember now ) with green colour except one part where my representative forgot a signature she immedietaly signed it and sent it back. Hello Dear I am an applicant under the parent’s sponsorship scheme of Canada. I need clarification regarding the following two points:- I have a surname but wife is not using any surname. In her Indian passport the Surname column is blank and her full name is written under the given Name which is in two parts. Should I fill her name as per the name shown in the Indian passport or second part of her name (KAUR) be used as surname in the application form? @@bhavnamukhood4248 I had an issue with the IMM0008, specifically at the question that asked the date on which you applied for the CSQ. Now I'm not 100% sure , but what I have been told is that you just have to leave that part open, so just do not fill in any date. After reading the instruction manual (in french) again it does seem like that is what you need to do, as it states that you only need to answer yes to the CSQ OR give the date on which you applied for the CSQ if you are applying under "catégorie de l’immigration économique", which is not the same as the "Family" category. Hopefully this was helpful :)

if you applied for extension, and received a visitor record, you can put the date mentioned in the visitor record under expiry

Please note that your request was rejected for the following reason: Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) • Form not completed in its entirety. • Dependents are not included in the list, whom they accompany to the Canada or not. » . I didn't really understand the concept of a dependent child. My child is 21 years old and depends on my ex-partner. My dependent child is currently in Quebec because he has a study permit. He will not accompany me to Canada (outside Quebec) what do you think are all the documents to complete in my application for him.
