I was in marching band when i was in high school and i know id never be good enough to even touch this field with the band, but god damn id love to dot the eye one time during one of their practices just for fun

As a clueless Eastern European asking , that awesome anthem / march sounding song is only associated with Ohio state football events (American football 🐥) or does it go back in time ?

Hello, it is a composition from the mid 1800's by a French man named Joseph Rauski.

That's not a tuba, it's a sousaphone. If you don't believe me, Google the instruments
