This is the first time I have heard of a black man” appearing. The accounts I’ve read, the girls saw specters of the people they were accusing. Tituba was Jamaican and did involve the young girls in fortune telling and other acts of sorcery. There is a historical fiction book called Tituba that gives some insight.

Hello amd thank you for the video. I live in pa and have in the past many times traveled to salem in October. It's my favorite place to visit. Usually the second weekend. Next September I will ne getting married and plan to honeymoon in salem and I have a question. I know the haunted happenings festivities officially begin October 1st but are there festivities that begin early say the week before in late September? That's when we would like to honeymoon there and just wondering if we would get all the happenings vibe but a bit earlier. Thanks and keep up the great job. HAPPY HALLOWEEN 🎃

Which bible was being used in Salem Village in the Winter of 1692, the Geneva Bible or the King James version? We’re surrounding towns and villages using the same bible? Was there any evidence that there was a copy of witch hunting manuals, such as King James’s Demonology or Malleus Maleficarum, present at Rev Samuel Parris’s home or in Salem Village? TIA!

Thanks you for this excellent video. My 9th Great-Grandmother was Elizabeth Periment Clawson ( my Grandmother Kittie Cloe Clason, the spelling and pronunciation evolved). The story my grandmother told was that the women tied inflated pigs bladders into their skirts snd that’s why they could float!
