  …im only curious, starting the APU is part of the turbine right, think its the first stage compressor, once the APU has reached whatever revs, the second stage of adding fuel starts the engine? Ive always thought the APU is the turbine, but the stages of engine ignition are seperate.

  i like being a diesel mechanic/hydraulic mechanic and seeing the similarities between turbine engines and heli-hydraulics, honestly it makes sense how small these engines are, you need high rpms but you dont need torque. Also OmG your hydraulic system screams "contingency with more contingency built in"

  You start all preflights at the nose. Why didn’t you use a manual to preflight the helicopter.1-1520-237 something or other? Also why so many balancing washers on the blades? You can cut those by half if you do a mtf with a mtp for a smoother ride. It’s only your life 🤷‍♂️?

  Video about preflighting a helicopter and apparently one of the most replayed moments is his interaction with his sidearm. At least then we know majorly Americans are viewing this. I just hope the tallydallys with our abandoned birds don't have KZread. They don't deserve wings.
