    You should have also used a darker primer if you're going to paint it black it'll make the color look deeper.

    Just spray the foam slower (pull trigger less than half way) will help eliminate the size of the air pockets. Spraying with trigger fully pulled will introduce more air.

  • @DonisGP

    You can use double sided tape to hold it down onto the trunk. Just like most carbon fiber parts they stick onto it with really good double sided tape like 3m

  • @skylinekid4life

    @@DonisGP ok cool cool.. That's for keeping the final product on the car. But while using the expanding foam, is it best to have tape under it? Will the foam damage the paint that is already on the car?

  • @johnnycashh7148
    @johnnycashh71482 жыл бұрын

    @@skylinekid4life I think I'm going to try this. I'm going to add to the factory tail I already have so I'm going to go directly to the tail and fiberglass over the top to give it the strength. No need to 3M anything down for mine. We'll see what happens!

    I used aluminum foil modled over my stock duck bill and them foamed it and let it dry to catch the full shape of my spoiler fin and the aluminum foil allows you to remove it with out sticking to every thing

    Great video. If i put fibreglass on outside am i not just going to sand the fibregrass away when trying to flatten contours? Confused as to why im putting it on in the first place? Any help appreciated.

    Nice work dude, but your Polyester Resin to MEKP Ratio is a bit much. I would advice any one who is using Polyester Resin for the first time, just use the ratio of 1 part MEKP per 50 parts Polyester Resin. It takes a bit longer to cure, but its safer and stronger. The hotter the resin mix and the faster warms up and cools down, the more cracks its gonna have during the curing process. Oh and this Ratio is recommended at room temperature.

    hi mate, im in the process of selling my SR20 from my 13 and getting a rb25, can i make the sr box fit or do i have to get a Rb manual box, and also will the drive shaft fit or will i have to get another cheers

  • @boostedbutbroken

    Hi Dude qwlxome to the channel, i would sell the SR Gearbox and get the rb box because of the extra torque from the rb25. With the driveshaft mine had to be shortened by around 2 inches but ti depends on your diff combo because i have a S14 VLSD. Hope this helps!
