How do switch characters as even if i change the character via l2 in cut scenes its switches to my character
You can separate main character from the rest of the group and leave them behind. If the main character is far enough away, it won’t default to them.

@jackelofnar It was a change they made in Patch 6, I believe. They wanted the main character to be the one talking in cutscenes more, so it defaults to them. When I played and recorded the video, it was before that patch, so it did not default to the main character.
fighting the red dragon for the level 3 flare enemy skill and when i reflect it off of him to hit me it misses every time i been at this for 3 hours no matter who the level 3 flare hits it's always a miss, how am i suppose to learn this skill if it keeps missing?
Never mind I got it, yeah I goofed my blue mage wasn't getting hit by the level 3 flare successfully because I wasn't blue mage level 3 I was really blue mage level 4 so I leveled another character to blue mage level 3 and got the enemy skill immediately
The Thaniel fight on Honor Mode is a lot tougher
Guys, I searched high and low on all the reddit posts. This is the trick to anyone who is still struggling. Use full 4 party members, go to vector and face the guardian. Equip setzer with hermes sandal and auto battle settings is on in the configuration. Set up all the other 3 members with defend whilst setzer with the slot and on auto battle. This took me 5 minutes and the trophy popped!
For the tschuniko you can also get it after the end boss battle.
I'm at Library of the Ancients and I just earned Lv 5 Death enemy skill from Page 64 and I was wanting to ask is it okay to grind and become op this early in the game? I try to stay 5 levels ahead of you but not sure if I will deny myself an enemy skill because I'm too op or if I need a enemy to morph and I'm one shoting them before they can, do I have to deal with anything like that if i become op or should I stay 5 to 10 levels ahead of you?
You’ll still need an enemy skill / blue magic for Levels 4, 3, and 2, and they will come later in the game. I’d say if you were 10 levels ahead of me, that would make it easy to get the blue magic spells when I get them. There is a bit of a grind at the end of the game for some trophies, so you have some freedom to over level without missing anything. I kept my levels a bit low in order to showcase more strategy in the fights than relying on raw power, but either approach is fine.
The Fire Hydra battle wasn't shown in this video. Also, Marilith is not weak to ice.

3:29:25 my dumb ass thought you were supposed to get him to follow your footprints all the way to the exit and then set the claymore down, but he would always give up halfway through the map. and i still had to do it several times to get the glass to explode

I didn't have any Echo Screens but what I did was put everyone but Setxer to Def. Then I started Setxer slot and just keep Auto Battling until I got it.

For the most part, yes. There will probably be more enemies in different positions, but the collectibles will probably all be in the same place.

I have to say that I remember the VR missions when it came out and it seemed so amazing...now...well, the game definitely shows how bad some of the game mechanics have aged over the past 20 years. Especially in the Puzzle Mode section (grenade level and level 10 involving the guard that turns super fast). Gil Turtle is missable if you don't kill him in Galuf's world as he does not appear in the Merged World. The Tonberry is very rare, so that one just takes some time to find.

@MaskedMatador 3 has always had a special spot in my heart. But I really enjoyed the platnum for 5. That one felt the most memorable this time around. I'm not sure if you mentioned in a video, which one did you find your favourite?
@@gav5568 They were all pretty special for their own reasons. FF1 was the first Final Fantasy I ever played, so it was great being able to play it in the updated format. FF2 surprised me with how much I enjoyed it given that it's usually considered one of the worst games in the franchise; I appreciated how they tried to be different from FF1, but I think they learned their lessons for what fans like and don't like, and that helped the rest of the games to be more successful. I had never beaten FF3 before as I would always get stuck on the last boss, so it was nice to finally beat that one. The story of FF4 has always been one of my favorites, but it is a pretty serious game. FF5 was just fun because of the humor, and it never took itself too seriously; it was such a pleasure to play that one and not have it feel like a repetitive grind. FF6 is special because it marked my beginning as a KZread content creator. It was a great learning experience for me, and I'll always be grateful for that.
@MaskedMatador I did really enjoy getting back to the roots of FF1, and it has been like 20 years since I've played it, so it was a pretty wild experience to go back too. FF2 whilst I know it's gotten alot of hate, but I genuinely really enjoyed it because it felt so different. I liked the specialised weapon system because of how different a take it is, it made it feel really fresh. FF4 is a pretty serious game, I had my ups and down with that one the most I think this time around. And with FF6 I did love how wide they were able to make the cast of playable characters. Having like 14 characters to choose from in an RPG from 1994 is pretty wild, I don't know any other game that's gone and done that. And they gave each of the characters their own space to grow and standout which I think is really awesome. It's also really awesome to see a creator that's still active with their OG video's! This is honestly the first series of video's I've ever left comments on and it's been a great experience. So thank you.

With the help of your guide, Perfect Stealth’s guide, and coming up with some of my own strategies, I finally did it. It took me like 4 days and really took over my life. I’m probably a worse person because of this mode but it’s done. So satisfying. Thanks man. Def the hardest challenge of my gaming career. Been playing this since 2001 and I never even attempted this craziness before. I honestly think Fatman was the worst part.
The randomness of the Fatman fight is what makes it so awful. I really think that's the peak of difficulty in the game, and it gets significantly easier and less random after that point. Thanks for following along, and good job completing this tough challenge!
