nice to see had a good time, what did they steal off of you in the metro, I will be there in 2 weeks, just curious.
@ChenAroundTheWorld2 ай бұрын
They stole my wallet and took the cash inside. Then left the wallet on the ground (which my credit card, drivers license etc. were still left inside so I was thankful for that). Someone else (at the same time) grab my daughter's little purse that she left in the shopping bag, but she had nothing in there. I think they took advantage of the crowdedness to bump into you and grab things. But all this could have been avoided if we use our conceal bag which I just forgot since I took the wallet out to purchase the train ticket. Have a good time! You will be fine. It is a beautiful city.

Helena Santacruz I flew into Vietnam thru Hanoi and did not have issues. I did read that some had run into issues with immigration in Danang. I flew domestically from Saigon to Danang and back to Saigon without issues though. I was mentally prepared to lose the drone before I went there.
Michael Chen I will also be flying into Saigon first, then Da Nang the next day and then back to Saigon so I was hoping I could get away with it that way. I wouldn’t want immigration taking it 😩
You should be fine then. I took it as a carry-on and security officers with X-ray machine never stopped my bag. Although I did pack it with a bunch of camera gear so it wouldn’t stand out :)
Michael Chen good idea! Haha. Thank you for your response. I’m glad you got to take breathtaking views while you were there :)
Thanks for the video. Did you add any extra stabilization in post?
No. Just used DJI Osmo Mobile as a stabilizer.
Hey Michael! Great job on the vlog, very informative and entertaining! The overnight cruise was something we wanted to do but only ended up doing the day trip. Your b-roll is really impressive and the family looks like they had a blast! We will be subscribing and following along! Keep up the good work! Hopefully you can give a moment to mutually support fellow travel vloggers, cheers! -Citizens of Everywhere
Thanks for the comment. I am just a hack. It was just my own way to document my trip to Vietnam with my kids. I have subbed to your channel. Loved your drone video in Halong Bay.
Right back at you - Your Halong drone shots are gorgeous! Thank you as well for supporting the channel. Keep up the good work on your side :)
Many mainland Chinese tourists there ?
Les Miserables Not at the resort. We had the beach pretty much all to ourselves.
