Absolutely love your videos! 🫶you are my favourite KZreadr! And such an inspiration It’s me from the jam suggestion, and I just want to say, you should give yourself some grace. Gastrointestinal issues is super common in runners, and it is all about finding what works best for you. Also, any new strategy you implement, your body will need time to adapt (e.g., your body will need a couple of times of you eating bread and jam before your runs for it to accept it better and get used to it, but if after a couple of times it stills does not agree with you, you can try another high carbohydrate, low fat and low fibre combo)
You can also find some gym friends or running buddies. I like to do those things solo so that doesn't work for me but it might for you and it's fun (I did have some when I was younger so it might depend on the phase of life your in <3)
I have the oura ring and have the same thing with the steps between that + apple. I think the wrist trackers are much better and tracking steps just due to arm swing, but the ring is much better at tracking sleep information. Apple always overestimates my sleep times

Maurten gels are definitely the best gels i’ve tried! They are rly thick which can be weird for some people but they’re not super tasty and they’re not creamy (creamy gels are literally the worst). I just swallow it and try not to keep it in my mouth for too long so I don’t freak about the texture.

Keen for the Gymshark sale!! What size do you wear in the shorts? (specifically the Adapt Fleck ones) - I've tried a few things from GS and found their sizing can be hit and miss. Are they similar to Stax seamless sizing? 💖
I sometimes size up in the shorts because they compress anyway. My hips are like 42 inches and i usually get medium.
Queen on the day of the marathon take an immodium. I battled exactly the same all through my training and toilet breaks and immodium worked sooo well for me on marathon day! Just do a practice run with it xx

Hi Conagh, forgot to ask earlier: Do the ultrahuman rings track distances too? I’ve always hated wearing smartwatches (they make my eczema flare up all the time) but I kinda need to wear them to track the distances I’ve ran or biked :/ hoping these smart rings will be better for my sensitive skin!
it does! you can set up workouts on your app (similar to apple watch) and press start and end workout - lot's of categories e.g running, pilates, gym, etc.
Hey! I used to get bad reaction to silicone straps and ended up swapping out mine for a stainless steel strap and haven’t had any problems since! Its also way comfier than I expected

Wash the heart rate monitor!! I do mine with soap and water, then just rinse thoroughly. I bought that model because you can wear it swimming. The picture instructions on the strap literally tell you to handwash it after every 7runs

Carb load the night before your big run. Like try eat as much as possible for your last meal of the day. This is really important it will give you the fuel you need.

I’m training for a marathon and I have a bad habit of doing my long runs on a Saturday cause I’m a full time nursing student and then I work as a server/bartender on weekends and I always regret it by 8pm cause my legs are in painnnn
