Thank you
Thanks for watching
Think Alex was wearing those echoboom's. Good shout on that!
Thinking about rotating the echoboom On's and Sen 9/10 for my 5ks and hyrox this year. Nice to see they're both on your list!
Great choices for sure!
Michael 💪 can wait to see you break that world record! 🤗🥳
Shoulder willing!! Thank you.
We’ll be cheering him on too!
First reviewer I’ve heard mention these for Hyrox. I have a pair and was thinking of putting them in the Hyrox too.
I wore them last week for the Hyrox world championships, worked great for me.
The heavy carry obstacles usually don't make people do burpees. Unless you're doing the Palmerton Spartan. They had so many people quit during the sand bag carry, they ran out of bags.
Rules have changed in the last few years. But Spartan had the option of burpees in Lee of tire flips and Carrie’s if it was too much. The main point is that they are not so challenging that they should be a concern. So focus your training on what challenges you the most.
The fact you both replied and watched it proves why!
Why do people continue to review this show when you can’t find them?
And why bother when Superblast 2 is coming out next month? lol 😂
I want this shoe. Can’t get a size 10 anywhere
@@jerrydooley7551 Available on i run ...
@@jerrydooley7551 I have an unused, boxed, size US10. Just can't decide whether to use them or sell them.
@@davidrosenthal5795why not... Some people doesnt need the newest
Never owned a Super Shoe before. Got these on sale...a Rarity I know. Man these things are crazy light and the turn overs are fast... Almost unfair with all these Carbon Plated Racing shoes. But that doesn't mean you disregard your fitness. Cloud boom Echo. Pretty much an F-18 hitting the Sonic Boom.. and it can be heard for miles. That's the metaphor/analogy for these shoes.
Great way to put it
Great video but just wondering why you say drop the rope between each pull? Wont that be extra time and also extra tension in your back?
I find you can move forward faster if you drop the rope, but give both techniques a try in training and see what works best for you. Thanks for watching!
@RunningwithJames Thank you!! Just this week I was actually shocked to find that just sitting low in a squat , leaning over and pulling back on the rope without taking any steps back at all, Worked better for me!! Hope it works for race day!
@@tinabolon6723 let’s us know how it goes
@@RunningwithJames Hi! Im reporting back..lol..I freaking loved the Hyrox first off...that rope pull turned out surprisingly EASY..what the heck...I ripped though it mostly hand over hand..stepped back a few times..but I was amazed how light it felt..Next race will be even better..:) hooked

When is opposite hand grip not doable or not ideal? I need to learn this because I fell on slipper bars and my grip is pretty strong.
In my experience the opposite hand grip is always safer, especially if the bars are muddy or wet. The key is to get your momentum moving forward. The longer you’re on the bars , and the more you try to power through, the harder the obstacles.
Cliff hanger! We better get the conclusion of that story next time.
It’s coming! Promise
hurry pls, lol
Ha! Do my best
Saw many videos😅this was the best, that helped to understand right techniques. Are you in insta?
For sure check out @running.with.james and @mybcfit
Yeah. 5' 8" in the world. 5' 9" in USA. And 5' !0" in UK.
Facts
5'9"
Maybe that’s why he put 5’9” on his license?
Average height for an American male is 5”9 1/2 lol

Carlos we need to work on that depth for the wallballs. Some noreps there :-) Great work!
I’ll pass the message along
May i know about the sizing ? Is it same size with adizero SL ?
Yes, I have both the SL and the pro and they fit about the same. I’d say true to size.
i bought the adios pro 3 online . and the seller recommend to take 0.5 bigger then the ADIZERO SL . need to wait for trying the shoes first ermm @@RunningwithJames
I really want to learn how to tackle the wall obstacles and climbing the rope😊
You’re in luck we have a couple videos on both!

Coach James, thanks for sharing this memorable moment. 🏃♀️

Awesome review! I've been on the hunt for a 5k racer with good energy return without a massive amount of cushioning and "rocking." Just got a pair and loving them!
Great choice for a 5k shoe!
I brought this shoe myself,it does feel stiff iabit iv only ran twice in the , you say after abit more wear they are way Comforttable? , I plan to do 100 miles In them acorss snowdina, u think they are great shoe to do that as well for comfort?, im gonna try wear into them. Abit more
They are a great shoe, but I wouldn’t take them that far, so many better options. In my opinion, the speedland GS is the perfect trail shoe for that distance, but crazy expensive. Another option that I would choose over the VJ is the ASICS trabuco max
Great Episode!! Loved getting to know more about these amazing athletes! Congrats on BQ!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Oh wait! I got to see this now. Heard it yesterday at work but gotto see this podcast now :-)
Please do!
Finally a set of cool bruddahs reviewing hyrox kicks that aren’t jockin’ the endorphin pro 3s. I used em last November in men’s pro and enjoyed the ride, but the shoe is ugly. Appreciate this review fellas! Going either with the onclouds or takumi’s
Thanks for watching! Let us know how it turns out
Either if you run in the Sen 8s? Comparable to sen9?
@runningwithjames specifically asking about Sen 8 for hyrox
Advent runner! 😂😂😂
He’s a celebratory runner
Love the video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Speedland now has the "updated" PDX as the PDX is now discontinued: The HSV has received several updates over the PDX: 1. New sticky Michelin compound for wet rock 2. Anodized aluminum Li2 BOA dials 3. Gaiter compatibility 4. More durable Carbitex plate 5. New black colorway with Liz Canty specific graphic details
And more to come, it’s exciting
So put my hand upon my hip? 🤔 If you dip… I dip… we dip.
And we can dip down LOW and ROLL it round
This is so good. Thanks!
Thank you!
Thinking about getting this as an all round shoe as i have a marathon coming up. Thoughts?
This a great option for your up tempo and track days, not so great for easy efforts or recovery days.
Appreciate it, i have come to the decision that saucony endorphin speed 3 would be a great option i think
@@kevinvarga8197 I agree, great everyday do it all, trainer
@@RunningwithJames although it has a higher drop compared to Takumi Sen
Nice video, gentlemen. Very informative 👏. We came up with an agreement on these running shoes 🏃♀️
Awesome! Thank you!
I agree with your assessment of the shoe. The tongue sucks and needs to be reworked.
It amazes me that with as many testers and versions of the shoe, this was the best tongue variation they could come up with .
Running with VF2
Good choice
Thank You for this video. I have the Saucony but the high foam and carbon plate make me less stable on the broad jump landing for the bbj. Do you have any similar issues with the shoes mentioned?
Most of these have a lower stack height, so definitely more stable. The highest most unstable would be the Adios Pro 3. The takumi Sen is the lowest overall, and I would Say the Puma is the most stable.
Use hip hinge keep back neutral and abs for support when rowing, similar to a dead lift. Just thought I would add that advice. Great advice otherwise.
Yep, those are great cues. Thanks for watching!
I was on the crew team in college. Best shape of my life. When young, it's easy to compensate by using the back. I don't remember my coach even mentioning or teaching hip hinge. But now, older, I have had back injury and low back degeneration issues. So, I had to re-educate myself on proper form to continue rowing. The hip hinge and neutral back is great and protects the back from injury. Thanks for posting this video!@@RunningwithJames

Great video! I’m Gonna be at Dallas Saturday 💪🏾
Sweat! If you see me , say hello
I just can't relate to a guy over 6' telling me how to get over an 8' wall.
I’m 5’10 and can easily get over a 10ft wall. Many of our ladies that are under 5’6” are able to get over the 8ft wall. Practice and Use the techniques in this video and no matter your height you’ll succeed.
I can’t tell. Maybe give us a sign.
Here’s your sign 👌
Glad to see Takumi Sem is still up there on the list.
I've used in a couple HM and recently a 25 k long run at marathon pace with no problem. Thinking about giving them a go for the 42
Let me know how it goes.
Great review!!
Glad you enjoyed it
💪🏼 Thanks for the tips Coach 👍
Any time!
The 8ft wall
It’s a very similar technique. You want to run up the wall. We’ll do a video with the details
Dolphin..... love it. Thanks for the advice :)
Our pleasure!
I like the shoe but find that it’s almost too, too comfy soft. The red, white and blue version is amazingly beautiful.
Yeah, I’m a fan as well. Thanks for watching
Sizing?
Runs a smidge long, I wear a 10.5 and went with a 10.5. It fit good but did have a little extra room in the toe. If you have a narrow foot, you can go down a half size.
TRUE TO SIZE. Wouldn't recommend wearing THICK socks.
Thank you for the close up shots of the midsole! Very informative. New sub here. Hope you could do more Nike running shoe reviews. 👍🏼
More to come!
Great tips ! Thank you James !!
Glad it was helpful!
