I remember the 1950 Studebaker when it was new & always thought that it was too advanced, for its time! This proves that, as that model was the impetus for this 'futuristic' car! p.s. It's "Ice Princess", not "Ice Princes"!

As impractical as this may be for day-to-day commuting, I love the optimistic, "Atomic-Age" aesthetic of these 1950's - 1970's "Dream Cars." (About the only thing missing is a Turbine Engine . . . .) As a sidebar, I live close to the National Museum of Transportation in St. Louis, Missouri, on Barret Station Road, where Bobby Darin's DiDia 150 Dream Car is displayed, as well as a working example of the 1963 Chrysler Turbine Car. Thanks for sharing this with us! 29th Like.

Also, imagine being in any Midwestern state in winter and having to scrape the ice off that double-canopy in the morning. Still, as a pure 1950's Atomic-Age piece of Automotive "Dream Car" Art; this is pretty cool looking, regardless of how impractical it actually may be on the road.
