Am I able to do this without needing Portal with RTX?
Me ha funcionado. No eres un héroe, eres el mismísimo Arconte de las leyendas 🍺
How do I put xemu in vulkan?
Hi Matt. You have a video where you show how to install CachyOS kernel on another distro. On don't recall wich one it is. Can you point me in the right one? Thanks.
Is there a way to play the game without all those steps?
Huh great progress. This is a good beginning!
Really wish you didn't yap so much in your videos. You cover some really interesting topics but the signal to noise ratio is pretty scuffed
yap .... not only do i get straight to the point but everything i say is for a reason stop thinking about just you and understand others need that extra push to learn better and they need details
I would like so much to try it, but the live USB never start for me and I don't know what is the problem. I disabled CSM, TMP and SecureBoot but to no effect. Any suggestions?
Head to the cachyos discord
Thank you for your work, very useful. I follow your instructions and now nobara runs perfectly. You rocks
wicked!! and thanks for the nice comment
Do you think it would be possible to get a tutorial on how to use this application? I'm new to Linux and new to actually having like, decent gaming specs. Never needed to do fan stuff or try to optimize anything for gaming.
I will try today or tomorrow
@@Mattscreative Thank you so much! And thank you again for all of the CachyOS videos, you got me into the Linux world and I am here to stay!
So cool what settings did you change from standard settings
Nothing
This is awesome 👏
Truly
You actually put the OS to shame by how easily you fix issues.
Nah

I think appimages might save linux. I love having apps I can archive and run on any linux install with no internet connection
I might start making and using them. It also keeps me from reinstalling a bunch of stuff too when I move them from OS to OS
How to download games
Check my playlist called Linux guides

Great video mate, glad i found your channel its been a massive help to me getting into Linux. How do you get your Photoshop icon to appear in your dock?
where do I get the metadata folder man ? can somebody explain ?
My discord go to the rules channel apply the Linux role go to Linux not support click the pins button and grab it
i would love to see on1 or Capture one running on linux
I used to like Gnome2 back in the day and disliked Gnome3 when it came out because it wasn't what I was used to when it comes to the new workflow and it crashed a lot back then. I then switched to different DE's and tiling window managers over the years. Two years ago I decided to give Gnome4x another chance because with Gnome3 I hadn't given it a fair chance. I now have actually gotten to love Gnome4x for it's simplicity and for the Gnome workflow and I only use one or two extensions, I actually find Gnome a good in between for if you want have a tiling window manager type work flow but don't want to setup everything manually and still want to have all the modern looking things of a full desktop environment.
Bro i did not get link of 60fps in your discord please help me
I really wish I had a desktop to try greatly Nvidia in Wayland, FUCK NVIDIA OPTIMUS and it's reliance in Xorg
Wow! As a newbie it's awesome to know this is available in Linux. I use Linux on a vm and saving money for assembling up a PC for my home. Probably i will be getting a MSI mobo for the build. I would love to know if there's any possibility for RGB control (for Mobo, Ram, GPU and Fans) without brick or lagging the Linux system or should i go all dark as Batman Cave? Please make a new video for this cooler application.
Bro i do it sucessfully, thnx to you. I was able to insert 4 mods at same time with pokemon, so as i can see this woul work for xenoblade chronicles 2 also? humm interesting. i will try it later. Thnx for the nice tutorial. The only negative point if i can see in this way is, i need to delete the romfs dump folder that was in c: Temp. That folder was consumming store space so, after the mod just delete that folder and is all good.
recall didnt happen yet. but windows 11 is pack full of other spywhere and heck yea fedora rocks. i call it the new ubuntu sense they lost there way years ago,
Hello, thanks for the info. I have a question on EndeavourOS, i can install Insync app because is on the AUR repo. Using yay -S insync. But I can't do it on CachyOS. How to add the repository to install the app Insync. Also can you make a tutorial to install the numix icon theme, whitesur gtk theme and the numix folders?
I'm so happy to see how far Linux has come (for the general public). I have used Fedora, Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Manjaro, and a few others, but there is one thing I cannot live without that even Windows struggles with.......... The Ecosystem! I know that Closed Source is repulsive to many of you in the Linux community, but I've spent valuable hours of my life and effort in configuring, transferring, copying, viewing/carrying multiple devices. Running Windows VMs for specific programs when running Linux as my DD, and Windows deciding to re-enable options I disabled after an update. My Mac/Macbook, iPhone, Apple TV, and HomePods allow me to set something up once and my preferences and data is made available everywhere else I am logged in. My shortcuts, notes, reminders, data, photos/videos, shows, music, and so much more are setup for me everywhere I interact with a device. It's simple, and I wish Linux could be that for me, but it just can't be.
when it comes to gamers. Linux is not an option... yes some games working but not to much. all AA games comes on windows only
bahahaha your funny ive played every single new AAA title on linux with better performance
@@Mattscreative another toxic kid... mate learn to reply people. insane
@@dafkid1985 Honestly. Went and checked some of the comments and what a condescending tone. Agree with you here, i'm glad it's working for a lot of people here using emulators, however that's as you stated not for all gamers. Majority of people are console gamers anyway. Until it's as accessible as it is on those platforms, linux is, as you stated, not for gamers.
What kind of DE are you using? Looks better than stock.
Gnome 46
Linux fanboys were finally able to leave some comments once they managed to install the browsers after a few days 🤣🤣
Browser comes preinstalled
Curious about the PSU you're talking about in the video, any chance for a name or link to a storefront?
added it to the description
yes, 1080 videos please
This was 1440p
It's good to see so many motherboard sensors on your PC. From the chip I guess it's an MSI? I have lots of sensors like you. Since I mostly don't need half of them, I hover the sensor, and where the '...' menu appears on the right, select 'Hide'. That will make them 'greyed out'. Then toggle that menu you showed in your video to hide the hidden items. It makes the overview area nice and clean, too. I love this app. It really helped to move from windows. And now you're helping more people do it, nice one!
yes i only use MSI for mobo's
@@Mattscreative Pretty good call, I had my first MSI mobo in the 80's they've been reliable for a long time! How are you finding it with linux, seems good? Are they good with AGESA updates?
ya always ahead
@@Mattscreative Thanks for the advice. They should sponsor you!
Windows has Fan Control available on github
it's ok but needs plugins for certain hardware
I use coolercontrol in my proxmox node and is the best fan control software so far
great
Hey! After watching you, I recently switched to CachyOS because the EndeavourOS installer has not been working properly for me lately, and Cachy installed just fine. KDE Plasma with bore-lto kernel btw. Boot speed down from 20 to 8 seconds. Much, much more snappier than Arch, and has a most of the stuff set up for me, this way I got it work ready in just 45 minutes. It's amazing.
wooot
This is my experience with cachyos too, just had issues installing as my motherboard or windows didn't like if I installed it in any way other then grub. Also I am yet to run into bugs with KDE (apart from small visual bugs).
@@aayushg8 Sure enough, I might give EndeavourOS an another go they release a newer iso.
What do you think about Pop!Os ?
right now it's outdated but once it updates it should be avg at best
How have you got Photoshop on there?
Watch the video I have on that
Amazing video, thank you. Question, is there any way to run Faceit anticheat using Nobara or any other linux?
Not that I know of
How does gnome preform on cachy?
great
I followed all the steps but yay command it doesn't work, thanks in advance
sudo pacman -S yay
@@Mattscreative thanks man
Thanks for making a vid about this! I'm subbed now :) The new version 1.4.0 should melt all those nvidia glitches like the message saying it failed. There will also be a big performance uplift from that. If you have any other problems the discord or the gitlab issues should help you out :)
I know I got a video coming already
@@Mattscreative Nice mate you're ahead of the curve!
love your desktop, tugging at my desire to someday switch to linux full time
Dooooo it!!! lol
@@Mattscreative I do a lot of VR gaming which doesn't like linux is the thing holding me back😔
there is a program called parabolic that is made for GNOME and uses YT-DLP and downloads the highest quality as possible as well.
I am not looking for any other program
After a year of using Linux full-time, I kinda stopped trying to brute force my way onto using Windows apps on Linux via Wine, with every hour spent debugging comes more diminishing returns. I spent some extra time rewiring my brain into learning stuff like GIMP, Inkscape and Kdenline and I'm glad I did honestly. I only use wine-tkg for yabridge, cause there's very little room for errors or bugs and works seamlessly on Fedora.
Whenever i boot into ventoy and load the iso my system shuts down?
Nice, I just needed this thing, I really hit the Jackpot as you are using Cachy OS
Extensions work on every Linux not just cachyos
