Pd the etecoons and dachoras can't be x infected because 1 Adam confirms they aren't infected 2 the metroid fusion manual notes x are aggresive to metroid tissue so they are safe Also this means samus consumes the x at a celular level

You should check out Black Mesa: Blue Shift, it's being made with help from the Black Mesa team and is honestly on par with the base game, and some parts even surpass it. It expands on BS quite a bit, with most of the areas being extended in some way, making it feel more like a full game, while still being recognizable as a remake of BS. Unfortunately it's not completely out yet, with just the first four chapters released as of writing this (still about six-ish hours of gameplay though, not bad), but even in its current state it's easily one of the best Source mods ever made.

The map 02 bridge is there, even if you don't shoot the panel. I found found out about that on my own because when i was playing it i would often fall into the pit, and wonder why i couldn't move. then i got the idea there is an invisible bridge. before i found out about the bridge i even tried to use the panel as a switch, never ocured to shoot it.

Armada was my real introduction to the series, loved it Learning how every other Starscream is portrayed was... pretty heartbreaking ngl The show really struggled until his Zuko-esque character arc kicked in

I was a Doom newbie at the time, idk why I thought it was the 3000 back then. I think a friend or someone online told me that it's the 9000 in the new games, and 3000 in the old games. Idk.

There is now a third weapon to ricochet. The alt revolver can hit it’s own core grenade to create a hitscan weapon.

PSX Doom is the port that literally destroyed the doom game series. this is the reason of doom 64, doom 3, doom 2016 release, because of which there were many "doomers" who think that doom = horror, who will then hate doom eternal.

Even with all the flaws I think this is still great in its own right if you just want more doom for the PS1 Its pretty cool seeing these levels in a different flesh and pretty fun to play through

I'd recommend checking out Doom 3: Phobos if you want to see what a proper Doom game in the style of Doom 3 could've been like. It's a story based custom campaign that completely revamps the combat to be more in line with the previous games, while still keeping the tense, horror atmosphere and also not relying on the ol' "spawn monster behind you and go boo" trick that Doom 3 overuses. The story is very unconventional for Doom, it's more like Soma, but personally I love it and I think it fits surprisingly well into the universe. While I'll admit I do actually love Doom 3, I think people are a bit too harsh on it myself, I do still admit that even I have a few issues with it, namely the weapons, and Phobos fixes all of the complaints I had and it introduces a bunch of cool new shit at the same time. Easily one of the best mods I've ever played.

Also in tricks and traps the cacodemon roomis kind of a trap while also not. It has a switch at the back of the room which opens a wall in the pinky demon room so you can get a BFG

The DLC just dropped. It sometimes feels a bit more difficult than the base game since the resource crates give 200 hp/stack instead of 300 but at the same time you've got 2 new powerful weapons. Horde mode on exterminatus has more than 1,000 enemies, very cool.
