  I always prayed that me & my wife could walk our last mile together. We were married for 24 years but together for almost 26. January 30,2023 my Sweetheart collapsed in front of me and our 11 year old daughter and I immediately gave her CPR. The ambulance was stationed only 1 mile away but sadly we couldn’t bring her back this time. She was only 43 years old just 10 days away from her 44 birthday & our birthdays were only 4 days apart. We had good times and we also had hell throw the kitchen sink at us also but always remained locked in love. I held her hand & heart for so many years and although we couldn’t walk the last mile together I held her hand all the way to the end. People don’t take today for granted, don’t put off hugging, kissing and holding your loved ones, for tomorrow will not come for many people. Tell them now, thank you for loving me, I love you or I’m sorry. Let them know now don’t wait! You can never imagine how lonely you will be without your sweetheart until it happens to you. It’s been over a year now and I still dread going to bed without her and waking up without her. Those last heartbeats that you hear are the scariest and saddest sounds you will ever hear in your lifetime. Walk TODAY and the last mile together. God bless you
