  Y'know, there's a timeline where they did meet their kickstarter goal, and i have a feeling that in that timeline this game was an actual, serious successor or even a competitor to cuphead You can very clearly see from this kickstarter trailer, the scrapped content, the rushed parts like the tim burton witch fight, and the *suspisciously* small moveset of the bosses that this game had a *lot* of really, really fun ideas that had to be scrapped because of budget or time constraints

  Sister location is what caused me to actually get into the fandom as a kid, funnily enough. I like the lore and characters (Lolbit especially idk why, it's just a silly little creature) and it had lots of cool secrets and even an extra ending.

  The fact that studio MDHR aka the creators of Cuphead, somehow managed to get a whole ass orchestra for the soundtrack is impressive. Enchanted Portals didn't even try, it's just stock music.

  Honestly the trailer looks like a rendered animation they did separately from the game,that would explain why most of the animations in the trailer are not present in the main "game"
