Hi there i’m also a pharmacy student stage 4 and i want an advice for my postgraduate plans living in iraq tho! and the opportunities here is so low i want like get the chance to make my future but not in the Middle East any advice ?
Hello Robert. I'm also pursuing pharmacy. I learnt a lot in my first year. It ain't easy but I'm hopeful. Currently in my second year and I noticed you might have a Ghanaian background due to your surname. 😅
Hello and congrats on finishing your first year! Also I am Ghanaian 🇬🇭
keep talking about ur reads ik it will be rlly helpful
Thanks for the advice. I plan on sharing my favorite reads soon.
thank u very much for sharig ur exp i rlly needed to know that
Glad it was helpful!
i’m interested in becoming a pharmacy tech but i feel like it’s mostly a girl job and feel like other people will think weirdly of me for not having a “man job”
This is just incorrect. I have worked with stores with mostly men and other stores with mostly women. You should only really worry about how the job makes you feel.
Yeah fellowships are 20% acceptance rate
Yeah it is crazy how competitive it is
I saw this video a bit late ik but i wish i could get a reply from you. I want to ask u, many people say pharmacy has very little job opportunity is this true ? And if not what can i do as a pharmacist other than selling medicines ?
I think a pharmacy degree is a very versatile degree. But a lot of the job opportunities will come from doing things out of the normal curriculum like getting internships/experiences in industry, pgx consulting, comprehensive medication reviews. In terms of what a pharmacist can do the results are honestly limitless.
@@RobertThompsonEshun you just made it much clearer, thank you for your advice!
I am a first year pharmacy student..thank you so much
No problem!
Some good reasons indeed
Hi how old are you?

Hello Robert What pharmacy school did you attend and could you give me a few examples of good pharmacy schools in the US? Is post pharmacy school employment based on what school of pharmacy you attended or some other criteria? Pls shed some light
Hello Robert Do you know of any private lenders that offer loans to international students who do not have cosigners?
Hello Okonta, I attended St. John's University in NY. Good examples of pharmacy schools would be based on how much exposure a school has to clinical research, good alumni, NAPLEX pass rate, residency match rate, and quality/quantity of APPE experiences. Which is a lot lol. Post-pharmacy school employment is independent of the school you go to. As long as you have a PharmD you can apply for any kind of employment.
Hey Robert greetings from Ethiopia, I was recently watching a documentary on Netflix called " Unsolved Mysterious " about the disappearance of a University student at St. John University I'd like to know if you heard about it?
Hello Zahra, I have never heard about this. After looking it up I see that it was St. John's university in Minnesota which is not the same university I attended.
Thank you Robert!! I'm about to go into my APPEs, it's exciting and terrifying honestly. This was some great advice - I'll be sure to reference back to your video.
Glad you enjoyed it Anita and good luck!
Hi Thompson. I will be coming to SJU for fall 2023
Congrats Nana! Wishing you the best of luck in the future
@robert, am a permanent resident who recently relocated to the US. I hold a bachelor's degree from my mother country, Kenya, and am really interested in pursuing pharmacy here in the US. How do I start it?
I would research schools that offer pharmacy then reach out to the ones that you are interested in. Let them know your situation and they should be able to help you from there Kubai.
Hello and good morning 😃 I really enjoyed watching your video today ✌🏽Thank you for sharing ❤You have a nice channel 👌
Thank you so much Lashon! I really appreciate your comment
Hi, i did chemistry for my first degree and now I’m my final year for masters chemistry in the US. I am wondering if I qualify for pharmacy school
Yeah you definitely qualify you just need to apply to schools since each one has more specific requirements
The LORD JESUS CHRIST WHO Is Coming Again To Judge the living and the dead Loves us all let's give our lives To HIM Amen
hello! i’m actually applying to SJU doctor of pharmacy program but I can’t find any info on the web. The application is due on the 15th can you give me a little more insight?
Check out this link and you can also request info here: www.stjohns.edu/academics/programs/doctor-pharmacy
I’m currently a pharmacy technician. I worked retail for 1 year and a half. During that period in the beginning I was hesitant if pharmacy was the career path I want to pick. But as time went by I had an amazing team. I understood pharmacy better. Its very fast pace, you gotta be patient, tolerant, and care about what you do. Now I’m working as a pharmacy assistant in a hospital. I found your channel last night. And thank you for posting about your journey sir! 🙏 question do you recommend online pharmacy school for people that are busy?
Glad to hear your story Brandon! I do not have much experience with online pharmacy school so I cannot recommend unfortunately. But if you do decide to do school online I would advise you to find opportunities to meet people in person and go to events.
Damn who beat me to the first like?😭
Appreciate this bro
Any time bro
How old are you?
25
Nice video !
Thank you!
Do you have to have a doctorate degree to become a medical writer? Can you have a masters degree?
Yeah you do not need a doctorate degree. It depends on what your masters degree is in but it would help if it is in a health care field

What content were you responsible for pulling together?
I worked on a lot of different content for companies. Specifically I was involved in evaluating clinical trials, making PowerPoints on rare disease states and editing a package insert for a new drug therapy.
That first shot tho
First here
Just sent u a message on Instagram if you can check whenever you have the time
Hi what degrees do you need to enroll in for the medical writing?
Honestly it depends. But I would say that any degree that shows scientific or medical expertise is a good foundation
Hay quá
Needed this. Sometimes it gets really overwhelming. Love you Rob!
Thanks Atta! Hope you are doing well
inspiring brother im starting the parmd program at sju in the fall, please lmk how the overall experience was

I’m an high scool student from France with science and physics as specialities and maths as an option can I apply in the us ?
I honestly do not know
Have you considered dropping out of pharmacy school? The number of jobs for pharmacists is decreasing meanwhile the schools print them out to the tune of 15k new ones every year. This will have disastrous consequences in the coming years which we are already seeing with stagnant/decreasing wages and lack of job opportunities. www.bls.gov/ooh/healthcare/pharmacists.htm
Yeah I considered dropping out but I am actually glad that I got through and love my new job!
Give me your number buddy I want to admit in your university
I don’t give out my number but you can email me at [email protected]
Thank you for this! I only have three semesters left until graduation, but its hard to find content creators that cover this subject! New subscriber for sure!
Glad you found this video helpful!
