Amen, Hallelujah, I get so excited! The Bible is not a mere book, written by mere men of the earth like many would have us think! The Bible can’t be a mere book because it’s AUTHOR is GOD. The Spirit of God spoke it into existence by revealing it to Holy men of antiquity whom PENNED IT as they were moved by the Holy Spirit! It is why this book transforms the lives of ALL that turn to it for guidance. In so much that the Psalmist declared unto God: “ Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path( Psalm 119:105).” For me, that means that WITHOUT it, we walk throughout the earth as in total darkness, as blind people without a clue as to where we’re headed and getting hurt, bumping into stuff along the way and never making it to our destination. It has been said that it is our road map to Heaven and I agree that it truly is. Jesus is the Way and HE said that we must be born again to see the Kingdom of Heaven(John 3:3) and says to “Search the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me(John 5:39-44), and it is Him that gives Eternal life. Peter later goes on to affirm that we must be born again, but how? “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides for ever(I Peter 1:23). It lives and abides forever because its Author lives and abides forever in so much that The Word comes to life and it accomplishes that which it was sent out to do. It does NOT turn back VOID(Isaiah 55:11). So the Bible not only guides us, but its seed produces the New Birth in us that Jesus spoke about as we not just hear it, but APPLY IT to our lives, as the Holy Spirit reveals it to us. Praise God for His Word! It is a well of never ending knowledge and wisdom to live by. Glory to God! Thank you, Pastor Chris for encouraging and engaging us! Glory yo God! ☮️

This word was a beautiful blessing I'm listening in July 2024 and what you're saying about pursuing Love and desiring gifts really just hit home. That's exactly what I did I received gifts of the Holy Spirit and then I just took off without him. I let the devil get behind me and just start pushing me and my ego just thought I was so special because I could speak in tongues and give some prophecy and encourage people to come to the Lord a little bit but I just ran from him. I wasn't abiding in his presence every day and I've repented and I know the difference now. You have helped me so much Chris thank you for letting me just know what it feels like to be in the presence of our God and how that is the true desire of what he has for us. Everything else is just given by Grace like you said. Now I will be walking forward in a ministry and work that he will lead as I sit at his feet, not one that I just run with on my own. Praise our holy God

Thank You God The Father, God The Son, God The Holy Spirit 🙌🏼♥️🙏🏼. We need both The Word of God and intimate relationship with God to be personally edified and made whole in our spirit man. It has taken me a while to understand and know this. I was trying to have 1 with out the other. It just was not working well for me. I am so very grateful thankful beyond what words could ever say that I know my Father God loves me.
God is my Father my First Love the One I know I can count on at the same time He is also God that I know I Sovereign. I come to God my Father in Respect Love and Awe. It took me getting into The Word of God to learn His character and getting into His Presence to learn His Heart. God is absolutely real to me and The One I turn to First. 🙌🏼♥️🙏🏼
