I believe there could be 1 or 2 cats out there that has been realised or escaped a private collection but im not one that thinks there roaming in numbers. Maybe 5 or so.

Sounds counter intuitive, but I've found that wood ash and water works just as well and scrub with newspaper... Scrubs up lovely and easy to rinse of the residue with plain ol' water after. Alternative is to "pre-soap" any pots that you know you're gonna put over a sooty flame and not cook on embers.

If only the local fuzz hadn't "poo-pooed" at the info I gave them, back in 1996/97, a little more interest may have ensued. I was approx 60yards/(55metres) from a Black Leopard, with a "normal" coloured neck & head( I.e,- pale fawn/yellowy colour with dark spots) I was out duck shooting on a friends farm(in Octobe r)

Ventilation is a must when lighting any system inside your tent or vestibule, but it won’t eliminate the condensation you’ll get. Or it’s unlikely too. The tea light hack is great though, it works in many situations, not least in a ‘snow hole’. It can be the difference between comfort and overnight hell. Always carry a few tea lights if only for emergencies. Thanks for the reminder , it’s been years since I used tea lights in this way.

What's up with you Brits and camping stoves and fire boxes? Is it illegal for campfires there? No disrespect, I just don't understand not having a fire. It's why i go camping.

I'm just watching a few channel's that have looked into big cat's because I just read it's been confirmed there's now DNA proof and big cat's are confirmed in the UK but how many and how wide spread is unknown.

The description of the cup says that you can boil water in it. I'm wondering if that's only the case with alcohol stoves or can I boil a water in the cup on a Coleman propane stove? I don't wanna melt my cup trying 😂

So you're expecting severe wind and rain and your entire shelter is based on one tent peg stuck in the mud? I love the channel but that's just plain crazy. You would not make it through a Texas storm.

Everybody does the debris hut wrong. Yours is WAY too big. You want the inside small and opening low. It should be stuffed to the point of struggling to get inside. Outside should be at least a foot thick just for rain. These shelters are difficult to make quickly. Great vid!

Carry a empty bottle incase you need to pee during ther night. Not to save going out but instead to use as an instant hot water bottle. If you have two bottles its ideal in the morning for warming your boots. One option for very cold weather is carry a set of tubes that clip together. build a small fire and angle the tube through the fire into your tent you may need to create a holder for the tube the fire will heat the tube sucking cold air in at the bottom pushing hot air out at the higher end into your tent. good video

I have the geertop hooped bivvy. It’s okay if you’re new to bivvy camping, but it has condensation problems, and the ventilation does nothing against Aussie heat waves. I’ve decided to switch to the TAS bivvy with poles (this is what they call their hooped bivvy) and a good old fashioned hammock for the warmer months.

Spálit na uhel uzeninu a potom jen naskladat na sebe jen něco, co se prodává v obchodě a je čtvercového tvaru, to dokáže tříleté dítě. Vařit na metrovém plamenu ohně, to mluví samo o sobě. 👎

many of these very cheap tents can be made waterproof is you use a silicone solution on the seams as well as spraying them with a cheap waterproofing aerosol. It is actually surprising how with a little effort these very light weight dome tents ( often in the ultralight 1 to 1.5 kg category) can be useful shelters for backpackers.

Love that Dutch Poncho. I once saw a company in Australia that was selling brand new ones, "woobies" too... I wish that they would make these again. I have never seen a better one. Lightness... Durability. (Currently using the USGI from Amazon, and "woobie".)
