@@robertrobert7924 I'm not for sure on that one , there may have been earlier mortars this small but I do believe the original Coehorns were a little bigger than this one, around 4.5 inches and up. I do have a 4 & 1/4 inch one that would be closer to an original diameter.

Can a child basically own this? Because the Colt 1860 Army isn’t technically a firearm under some firearm bill (I forgot the name) due to the revolver being blackpowder and made before 1898, but now modified to shoot .45 LC, it now becomes a firearm that requires a FFL?

@@Bruhza5870 there is still age restriction for muzzle loading replicas and it varies by states, even though they are not technically firearms. Once it's been modified to fire cartridges, then it is legally a firearm that requires the same guidelines and regulations as any other cartridge firing hand gun. Swap the original cylinder back in and now it's no longer a "forearm".

Yeah!👍 When I was a kid my father was on the road with his business. He was an artillery officer in WWII, and he'd buy miniatures of early field pieces as gifts for me. His last one he gave me was a 1/5th scale Parriot 10 pounder with 3/4" barrel. All cast iron, carriage as well. Bought it from Barney's Cannons in South Bend IN in the mid 70s. It is a good shooter too. 👍 Though I was a grown adult then, I was as tickled as a kid when he hoisted it from the trunk saying "Here son. This is one you can shoot." with a big grin. It'll never leave.
