Hi neil was wondering why you never start with the cockpit? I was gonna attempt marek spitfire, and wanted to tackle cockpit first. Any reason why you don't? Its my first marek kit, so any advice?

@@AryanSakaria greetings! Glad to have you aboard. First question answered: yes regular water based paint is fine. The key is having a mix and do I test brush of the color on Card stock and wait for it to dry. Lol and see if it is close enough. Question 2: I use Aleen's tacky glue. Hands down the best there is. At least in my experience. You can see it in the beginners Guide on fiddlers green model series. Good luck on your build. One love.

You can tell the difference between the typhoon and tempest best by looking at the front of the stabilizer, where its attached to the fuselage. With the typhoon this is a sharp corner, but with the tempest, its rounded of. Also they have very different wing shape.

I got the 1:33 A6M5 from Answer, which is very very similar in parts and instructions. It is also from the same author Fuczek, but this time published with Answer instead of Wak. Publishing date is July 2014 so thats 6 yrs later. It also comes with a frame set sold separately.

@@nove1913great question! You can use any weight between 130- 150gsm. And if this is a challenge getting, print on a regular 80gsm office paper and glue to another sheet. A matter of fact this is what you have seen with the bulk of my fiddlers green models online. Cheers.

It's always a pleasure to see your work Neil. The rigging was very complicated because there were no control surfaces, the whole wing was deformed as the designers had copied the wings of birds. Historically the "Taube" was used at the very beginning of WW1 in 1914 to bomb Paris with light bombs. As it was very inefficient the parisians were making fun of it. Thanks for the video ! Fantastic job again. It might be stated in the description, but the pilot of this particular aircraft was French hero Charles Nungesser, who had an amazing career and life. Also the German machine which they tried to copy the Nieuport 17 with was the Albatros D.III. which then had same strengths...and flaws.
