  I grew up in a small town in Newfoundland. There was a man named Irving Resnick who ran a clothing store. One day, Irving told me his story. He was from Ukraine, and was sent to Auschwitz when he was 14. Irving was big for his age, and was put to work by a German soldier who thought he was older. Thus act probably saved his life. He showed me his tattoo. Irving said to me that people are people. You have to be taught how to be evil. He retired to Miami a rich man, after selling his 5 stores.

  I live in NZ and was only young but my family knew a lovely Polish lady who never talked about her experience and always wore long sleeves to cover up the tattoo on her arm.😢

  Just thought of a Twilight zone type episode. The Nazi officer selecting left and right in the episode. There could be a brief introduction of him and how he gets to end up at Auschwitz then have him teasing people as he selects them, then a strange different looking person with something about them walks up and he feels suddenly uncomfortable. He hesitates starts to sweat the person looks at him poker faced with no fear or sadness, the officer feels fear, then shakes his head gathers himself and selects the person for the gas chambers. Later on in his barracks he talks of having a moment of weakness and having to give his head a shake. A quick montage comes on with allied troops smashing Germany but he survives and escapes to argentina, 30 years goes by and he dies in bed peacefully. Then suddenly he's in a line of people and the person who was at Auschwitz the strange person, is sending people left to hell and right to heaven, he screams NO NO NOOOO, and the person selecting carries on sending them left and right sending him to hell. Yes, I know it's most likely meant to be Joseph mengele in the episode of war and remembrance but you could do a variation of it in a outer limits or TZ type thing, and have the selector as a captain or something in the episode. The person who selects him for hell can be some type of mysterious spirit, like an angel or something, but leave it with no explanation just have him mysterious. What Dya reckon, load of crap? 😂

  How this happened the nation that give so much culture.... to Europe and then this madness came. Jewish, Slavic, Gipsy..... people so called by the master race (subrace)... Here we are once more Putin doing almost the same in Ukraina. Gaza doesn't look to human to... and so many places in this little world we have. It's getting more difficult to navigate emotionally.
