  To your question I think it is important that community comes together to help each other. As you say technology takes away the relationship aspect and makes it a singular persons role. But at the same time there are so many aspects to the burial that involves so many people's contributions. So I don't think it will disrupt this culture as long as other aspects continue to be part and parcel of the process.

  I find culture in cases like this very interesting. It shows the complex relationships that the clans and families play. Apart from the responsibilities it shows how important it is to keep ties with family, extended, as well as to other clans. I also find it fascinating how similar it is to my own culture which I am learning from afar.

Also we are naturally generous, this is another contributing factor to how behaviour. But needs discipline in the way of God Almighty, he is a generous God. And the world is getting more selfish.
