Sharing my personal experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. I graduated my program in 2022, and have shared about my classes, lab, clinical, testing, and more over the course of my two year program. I have grown so passionate about this career, and can't wait to see where it takes me. I hope to educate and motivate others who are interested in studying ultrasound.

Did you have to do essays ?
No honey, I'm not interested at all where you are in your program but I very much appreciate sono videos, Thank you :)
Thank you for posting this it was really helpful.
omg this is exactly my experience!! i’m a junior in hs, looking into ultrasound, and take de classes at the school that offers a sonography program! this video definitely makes me feel better abt my future. thank you!!
What are average salary levels for your field?
Hello, I already took SPI exam and thanks God I approved. I would like to know how to find an internship as an Ultrasound Sonographer, Right now I am about to take the Abdomen Exam. Thank you everyone.
Hi! I live in Dallas, what’s a school you would recommend?
As soon i heard the gpa i was like god damn i have failed
How much physics is there in the program ? Thank you.
Did you ever have to talk in front of the class?
Hey dear how is life treating you How’s the sonographer life going
What school you went to?
How long does it take the time to get your certification plz?
Love your videos! I can’t wait to start my program. I saw in the last video you said you were able to work on Saturdays during the first semester . Were you still able to maintain working in the second semester? I don’t plan to work when clinicals come around..but I was hoping to manage working one day a week during at least the first two semesters
Why did you add MUSIC to this? It totally detracts from your presentation. No reason for it at all.
Thx for your awesome tips and tricks… By the way… Do you marry me ??? 😎
Thanks
you are soo pretty
Your drawings are a lot better than mine🤣
What school did you get into?
How do you balance work and school and how long do you study during the day 😅
Madam...colon ulcers can be seen in sonography?
Hey do you have any clue about colleges providing MSC scholarship in sono for international students ??
Would you sell your notes??
NOW
What school/ program did you apply for ???
Scrotal ultrasound is intimidating to the male patient, I hope you give the patient a fold a towel to put over his penis before you scan, I hope he has another sheet over everything, he’s not there for your entertainment
How long was your program?? Mine is 18 months and we are flying! I just took my midterm and it’s only week 5!
Wow! 20 years into my career and refreshing to start a job returning to radiology ultrasound. This video is so well done! Thank you and I hope that your enjoy your career
The video was nice but can you please upload without the music, It's distracting. Thank you
Very helpful video. How ling prerequisites usually takes? Did you book all required ones before starting ?
My pre-reqs took 3 years to complete before qualifying for registering to enter the program. Most credentialed sono programs (that I am aware of) do not allow you to even sign up for the program until you complete the pre-reqs. You must also complete an entry test (TEAS). If you do not pass the pre-reqs with a B or above, you are put to the back of the line. A grade of a B- is a failing grade unfortunately, so you will likely have to retake the class if you get a fail grade. My school's pre-reqs: (in order of ones I most recently took first, to last) DMS 101, Medical Based Physics, Regular Physics, Bioethics, Trigonometry, Medical A&P 1, Medical A&P 2, Communications, Business English, Regular higher level English (pre-req to business English), Physiology, and a humanities class.
Thank you for the tips! You are beautiful, btw :)
Congrats on passing! I take my SPI in 2 months! This video is really helpful! I was wondering if you offered Zoom tutoring? Maybe just an hour at a time and only like 4-5 sessions? If not, that's ok! I am already an OBGYN tech and I must pass my SPI in February. So nervous!
is there anyway you could share all your notes on a google doc.! i am starting sonography school next month and your copies and drawings seem to be explained perfectly and you have great handwriting. it would be amazing for me to print this out and study. help a sis out🙏
Please continue to upload videos. Don’t stop. I am a new graduate. I always look at KZread videos to learn more.
Hi I just subscribed to your channel I did diagnostic sonography for 4 years in Ghana so I have a bachelors degree, I wanted to find out if I could use that to apply and work where you are or I have to do an MSC
Hello !!! Very well explained!!! I’m going to start following you
That’s awesome! Nothing better feeling when your in college and everything is falling into place!
Did you start the semester having any prior knowledge of sonography? Or does it seem manageable starting fresh when the semester starts? Not going to lie I’m nervous. Want to get a jump on things if I can before I start. Thank You! 🙏🏼 Great Job by the way. You must feel amazing putting in all that work and it paying off!
I’m going to start school for sonography. I know physics is huge and anatomy so I’m just gathering anything I can. Thank you for the video!
Sorry if I missed it in ur video but would you say the questions at the end of the Edelman book are comparable to the questions on the actual SPI?
Thanks, i am beginer, i wish more information, because i like ultrasography you explain excellent..💖
My teacher just told me to drop out because I struggle in physics 🫠
Which phys book is
i'm so sad because i literally do not understand anything :,) it's difficult for me to read & analyze ultrasounds... i start my program in january and i hope i won't fall behind!!
I’m an echo vascular tech for 11 years and never scanned any abdominal aorta , starting a new job in a week and it requires me to do abdominal aorta too , this video is very good and enough to understand what I need to do, thank you 🙏 for your help
Me too.
i’m an ultrasound student but vessels scare me
After taking the SPI how many ARDMS exams do you have to take?
You can do as many or as few as you want, just depends what specific field you want to work in, there’s abdomen (general), OB/GYN, pediatrics, musculoskeletal, vascular, breast etc…
Jesus saves
Hay quá
This is such a great video. Thank you so much for taking the time. I start my sonography school journey this august and I was curious to what concepts or terms I should prep now before I start being that it’s so terminology heavy? I downloaded a couple of sonography quiz apps but would love love your advice on organization BEFORE I start. Thanks again 💜🙏🏼
I already have the concept of sound physics due to previous studies in audiology and some anatomy.. I just want to be as proactive as I can
Hey congrats!!! My program recommended not starting to study before the program starts. Honestly I think that’s good because you already know the basics from your prerequisites. I’m sure your program will not be expecting you to know any sonography specific terms before u start, and they may have a very specific way of teaching you that might be confusing if you try to teach yourself early. Just take the time to relax and have fun because sonography school is a lot of hard work. You’ll do great!
Thank you so much for responding. Ok, I will enjoy the little time I have left before school. I wish you much success in the future 🌸
