Hi! Welcome to DeckFlare!
This channel is a side hobby of mine that is made for Cardfight!! Vanguard. My goal is to make the process of getting into the game easier through guides, budget decks, and discussions!

He stole my line, "and all that Jazz"
Thank you tbh xD I wanted to pick up Zorga nadir but wasn't sure how to really build or play him
My favorite part is when he says ‘get rotated gamers’
Crazy deck
Random as heck but could you do Solrarion (AKA Pope), or older vanguards that have gotten new support?
Ik the deck is flexible, but i also run mushroom forbidoll, mostly for the soul and persona, idk if its a gud idea tho
The thing that makes zorga difficult is what orders to alchemagic during the current situation. You want to +1 drive, you want to power up the follower, etc. If you already familiar with those orders function, playing this zorga is a great way to play competitively
No RPD for early game?
this is the easiest list for someone to pick up and play, not at all the best list lol
Let's say that i played an regalis piece and bind it. Next turn when i would play a order, can i Alchemagic the Regalis Piece?
You cannot. The action of using a regalis piece is only once per game.
@@deckflare3770 you actually *can* alchemagic an order with the bound regalis piece - the wording is a little misleading. You will perform the act of playing an order and alchemagicing *but* since the effect of the regalis can only be used once per fight the entire order effect will not resolve. So the order will do nothing but you can trigger like RPD, karma, and shadowcloak
@@lukaslivengood5687 I screenshot this for later reference.
Never could figure/get the hang of the whole alchemagic mechanic but I was wanting to learn how to play taboo so this I super fun and helpful 💚💙
i've been waiting on this one lol.... truly appreciate the vids
Question, does my vg skill still nullified if i persona ride?
This art is so amazing. It’s really wanting to make me start playing vanguard :/
This deck is really budget friendly actually. It's a really good starting point :)
@@deckflare3770 ok say no more I’m going to buy this deck haha
Buddyfight and Yugioh references be crazy.
Did you know this deck is a corocoro exclusive archetype in the corocoro comics of vanguard skyride
Could be alot better when we get its actual supports like its mate unit
The problem I have with that order card is the fact that you only replace your rear-guard if it's your opponent's ability that retires it. Sure, it works against Denial Griffin Premium, but what does it work against in Standard? That one blitz order if they have Botis?
Right now, nothing. It is more like an adaptation from the manga, in which there was a boss unit with the ability "when your opponent's rear-guard is placed, retire it" and not once per turn.
Now we wait until Ezerwur and Fanvare (maybe their spelling will change) comes out in English and it'll be more fun
I really like how there are multiple main characters in D format, Animes, Mangas, Games. It's great for people that love to self-insert and cosplay.
How do you proc the first vanguard skill given by stardust blade? I don’t see how your opponent is going to be retiring any of your rears before the end of your turn?
Just pretend it doesn't exist till we get something that can retire on your turn I guess
Ye it’s mostly an effect for premium and will eventually show up later down the line for standard.
But what about the Akina version. No heals no PGs?
I want to get into this game but it just sounds like there’s so much reading and many terms to understand.
Trading card games with deep enough mechanics and extended amount of years seem to eventually reach intimidating levels of complexity. I see Vanguard as simpler than YGO or MTG, but it isn't something that can be played without a deep understanding of multiple moving parts at a high level. I like it because games reward the better player, but there are very few mechanics that completely shut down the opponent (and those are usually very hard to pull off if your opponent knows what you are doing).
@@Armament0fJustice I’m a Digimon player and been on it since day one. I love it til this day. Vanguard I’ve always loved their art work and it’s always been something I want to get into. I love dragons too. But the mechanics do just make it a little intimidating but after watching a how to play video it actually is pretty simple and fun. I’m just skeptical if it’s even worth investing right now.
@@thirdstrike4 what is worthy of investment is a very personal thing... I love vanguard... I have an unhealthy amount of decks built for the most complex format and I live in a spot where I have like 2 friends who ever care to play with me... (ex-ygo players) I had to beg them to try, built and lent decks to them, and only one put his own together... I'd recommend figuring out what level of complexity you are looking for and seeing what fits your style. Also do your research; some "starter" products are just bad and others are missing new things that have become required for legal deck building.
@thirdstrike4 yeah I try to make accessibility a primary goal of my channel which is why all these vids have budget variants :). Whenever I try teaching people vanguard it’s always hard to get the motions down because the gameplay loop is very different from other games. Once you get it down though it’s super easy!
You were right lol
HE CHANGED THE TITLE AND THUMBNAIL TO GASLIGHT US! He cant keep getting away with this.
Now can we get a premium deck guide 👀👀👀
Go back one month 👀
I think in set 3/with the promo cards this deck is really going to take off
Yes, this generic build is strong. However, the actual PR Support Cards really do allow this to shine. Also... a G2 15k Body that is a 15k Intercepter? Bro xD That's saved me more than once haha
The one I was waiting for
One of my friends that Blangdmire himself is bad, but that it is his support that makes him good.
One option is Assembled tbh. Given that your soul is practically untouched if you're not running the defensive order.
Instructions unclear, Using Liael=Amorta in Thegrea
Also, how do you get such clean/big images of the cards?
I save the images and enhance them in Adobe Lightroom, then corner crop them and boost saturation in Photoshop :)
looking forward to playing this
This deck looks really fun! I understand that there's no real substitute for freiheidt but what budget options are there?
Great video! I get Combine Rusher for turn 2 pressure, but Abent Robust is a great option as well thay doubles as a searcher if you haven't gotten that third arena by turn 3. Running a pretty different build in some spots but i think it goes to show the flexibility of the deck. It really is cooler astrum, the "blandness" ive seen mentioned seems more of an "openness" to me. BG has a lot of cool mech RGs and Rotovisor helps them shine
I find that this deck is really slow mainly because of how the Divine Skill interacts with the PG effect Liael has. There needs to be a card that binds itself without the need of Liael so you can actually start PGing with her effect immediately after turn 3. This will set you up for the Divine Skill turn 4. But unfortunately, my guess is Bushi intentionally made this flaw so they can drop a promo that does exactly this or make some RRR in a later set to fix this issue. Like really? Liael's RRR is a 20k beater on the 4th swing of turn 3 (not even immediately on turn 3) SB1 to give VG 5k and a draw? That's depressing.
Armatoa
The heck is an Armatoa? Good list tho, Keter pile reigns supreme
Love! The other liael liael odium means hate
@@jamesluong5299 I think they're asking that because DeckFlare keeps mispronouncing the name as "Armatoa" when it's "Amorta"
Rotorvisor just feels....bland, idk. Even in V where every deck had restand/multiattack NG had its identity, attacking on main phase, making one little guy attack a lot and get even stronger, blau's pair multiattack. Rotor is in the same situation as those NG decks but it doesn't do it differently enough or even stronger in a way, he feels cheap, he doesn't have a identity
Her RRR signature rear guard is just stupid 😂
aint it Amorta not Armatoa?
This isn't the first time, and it won't be the last that I fucked up a name :)
@@deckflare3770 LMFAO all g bro first time I also said “Amartinoa” but then I realized “wait aint that the OT?”
Thanks for this been having trouble coming up with a list
Really good deck but 1 budget option i think you overlooked is Magic of alteration, Turnarr that when it gets booster goes into the soul for cost and counter charges 1, i actually enjoy running it over teithfalt
I wish I could run her, but god damnit she's expensive where I am
Great fast and easy to explain profile on a new deck. I haven't played vg in awhile but Ill def keep up with whats new now thanks to you!
Oh baby. Perfect Raizer in a format where multi-attack is the norm. Lol. Ah well. it has a cool robot. I'll probably pick it up. Hope the 2nd wave of support does something nice. And isn't locked to some promo with dogshit distribution.
Also I should say the production value and concise format is rock solid! Love the video.
Glanzel also lets you draw when you cb 2. An important tip when playing the deck is to know your opponent's grade two attack pattern. An early grade 2 rush turn may be a way to rack up damage, but if youre sitting at one damage, they may play smart and damage deny you. My advice, put in a bunch of front triggers.
I faced this deck on Wednesday, and it's fun to play against. His player felt that it is difficult for the deck to play go second.
I heckin love Gold Routile
Damn i miss that card
Abend with ExStriker making 53>63-73 lane is satisfying
I’m really hoping Set 4 brings some goods things for this deck, the RR support for the Flamme-Gram deck that was revealed last week was really good, so I’m hoping the other nations secondary rideline get similar support. I really want this deck to be good, Novas we’re one of my favorite clans, and it seems like the flaws are pretty easy to fix, like if they got an Amass Darnia style card that would be grea
I'm sad that standard is such a nova grappler clone format that the one deck that is literally a nova grappler deck is terrible
The main flaw is that it’s a turn 4 deck with the amount of set orders it needs, similar to pre grade 1 order Eva, or B heroes, if they get a card similar to Amass Darnia for B-heroes that lets that put in an additional arena order, I think this deck could become pretty scary
