Inspired to Wander

Inspired to Wander

Hi, my name is Nanci, and I thank you for checking out my videos of some places where I wander .... mostly out in nature, and quite often close to my home in Napa, California. I am new to You Tube, and am doing this just for fun....I am not a professional videographer, nor am I the most informed person about the areas that I am visiting. I'm just hoping to share my wanderings, and to inspire others to get out and walk, and enjoy the sights along the way! Happy trails!

So peaceful. So funny how it can be crazy wild and people going off in one city, and then here you are in this perfect, quiet place with no people at all. So glad you keep putting these videos out so people can see that California is mostly a wonderful place.

Hey Deb! California sure is a mixed bag...from the densely populated cities, to the vast wilderness of the mountains and deserts. This beach can get crowded at times too....but for early birds, it is a private place of beauty and peacefulness. I never get tired of visiting this part of the coast. Thanks for watching!

Good afternoon, it is EST here. Your van looks very comfortable, after watching so many people (quite a few women) travel on YT, I think a minivan is the way to go, especially for cost saving. I wish there was smell-a-vision, I do love the salty ocean breeze. Thanks for the bay view today. 💜 ☮

HI tja! Ahh, you are East coast gal! I'm from the East coast, but made CA my home decades ago. Yes, I love the easy mobility of my minivan, and the ability to pack it up quickly and go! Camping is convenient, and keeping stuff and gear to a minimum really helps. I wish you could smell the ocean air too! Until that day arrives for you, I appreciate you watching and always supporting my videos. Happy weekend to you!

Doran Beach campground is a great place to enjoy the waves, sand, and some of the camping sites are wonderful. Since you know the area, be sure to check the map so you can pick one that best suits your needs. Four hours is a rather long drive, so better stay a couple of nights at least! Happy travels to you, and thank you for your support.

I know this spot like the back of my hand. The lunch folk only work 2 days a week, there were about 19 baby ducks last count. The rides in Old Sac are new, they were put in around 2020. You can walk through the underpass at K street in Old Sac, it takes you to the Kings Arena and the new shops and restaurants there. If you feel like throwing an ax that’s where you can do it.
