  I wanted to add that during this battle Picton should of not even been at this battle! He should of been in the Army hospital because he was suffering from a serious musket ball wound to his hip that he got in battle 2 days prior but he bandaged it himself telling no one.

  What makes this work is the tempo, and percussion. When sped up over normal renditions it fits with other marches, especially ones like those written by John Philip Sousa.

  True historians of the napoleonic wars know this is greatly exaggerated. The British advanced with 40 guys towards a column of 20 French old guard while the entire Prussian army of 4 dudes clumsily stumbled onto the field.

  Yeah, the Old Guard refused to surrender and although some survived the unit effectively ceased to exist after Waterloo
