Super helpful video! I've been riding on road for years and i started my ADV journey last year
0:25. shoutout to the little bug crawling around the bottom left. and 0:39 rip bug
I whiskey throttled for the first time this past weekend & it was 100% from over-gripping the throttle.
Get on the pegs dude, stand up!
Awesome explanation.
Fair review
Excellent advice! Requesting tips for steep downhills on gravel 👍
Super Video 👍 tolles Motorrad 👍😃
How tall are you? This machine looks enormous in front of you. But you handle it effortlessly :) I'm 5'5 and struggling with big bikes.
Do you have First gear engaged for engine compression brake?
Bro thats ridiculous.. following your advice i went for practice today on my DX and adjusting my feet position just a little bit made my riding so much better and i immediately became more confident. Thanks for that mate! Really appreciate your explanations 🙏🏼
For this price point, I think you get more for your money with the Tiger 900. Or you can get the Scrambler 1200 which sounds better, looks cooler, and actually has some character 😅
Thank you for your content.
No details, no description.
Some people make it look so easy 😅
That looks fun
Nice video. Thanks!
My shocks are maxed out for a 150lb dude and we can’t change them
Can’t wait to try this. Btw it might be helpful if you had white-soled boots to easily visualize your heal position
can't drop my right heel on a TENERE because the exhaust is in the way
50 💀
Very cool 👍🇺🇸
totaly agree only time you counter balance is like 10mph or slower really (offroad)
On the Ducati fall, since the bike is actually in negative position, meaning not only picking up, but picking up even more than flat terrain, you can bite the bullet and rotate the bike on its engine guards. It sucks but if you can rotate it 180 degrees and then its pointed downhill and you are then lifting it with the hill in your favor and are pointed down hill and can start again. If you have a buddy with you, one of you can lift it a bit and put a jacket under the engine guards to keep the damage to a minimum and let the jacket take the abuse. This is much easier on a GS with the cylinders/guards allowing a pivot to rotate the bike on its side. With a v twin or parallel twin its harder. Great video series!!
Just wanted to mention one thing....do all this with a good riding boots with good grip otherwise you can slide of the pegs when you are on your toes and riding offroad in speed....thanks for the tips....🙏
How about a video for a powerful (2 kW or higher) AWD (2 wheel drive) electric bike? With the front-wheel driving too, does it change any of this?
Una señora motaca me encanta 🙏
800mt explore ??
OR you get stuck even deeper!
I can't drop my right heel on my Tenere there's no space because of the exhaust
How did Padu get a rally roadbook for recreational use?
S U P E R B ... component elements breakdown. I especially like what you pointed out regarding tall(er) gearing. With all the talk about specialty tires for EACH surface, I notice (with a smile) that most instructors appear on heavy bikes with ~50:50 or 70:30 tires! Maybe that's just 'good' for business? 😋 One topic about which I've seen NO guidance is: when to bail out i.e. when/HOW to get AWAY from a bike going down?
hi there is no point in dissecting a video by indicating such and such situations there are many parameters which do not depend on you which mean that you can fall stupidly. in the majority of cases you won't have any injuries and one day you will fall off your couch stupidly while talking like you do. moral of the story always be wary of the couch. all jokes aside, whatever your level of driving there are rules of good driving to limit the risk of accident (I drive solo most of the time off-road) it is not to postpone the day of driving and avoid driving at night and limit speed. off road the variants are so different with changes in grip, crossing that you cannot master all of them apart from the discussion on the sofa. See you soon

What bike is this
🤣🤣 wrong line man!
Well done for attemting that hill on that bike. Videos never really show how steep a hill is, it's probably way more intense than it looks. Bad target fixation ( not looking where he wants to end up), not weighing the foot pegs downwards in attack body position ( so you are ready and stable for a whiskey throttle), not covering the front brake with atleast 1 finger.
Crash analysis you hit a mountain
Don't ride a twin where you should be riding a single
Dodgy line with anything even mtb lol
ONE QUESTION was it worth the price? i rlly want one
Well you weren’t supposed to go that way 🤷🏼♂️
funny those ( instructor ) uses the smallest bike in the category
🤷🏼♂️ We have videos with the 1290 KTM, Ducati Desert X, CFMOTO 800, BMW GS…. Same technique on all these bikes.
Just came from the Brett Tkacs video and he says the opposite like keep the clutch in, lean far back...who's right?
Only way to find out is to go and try. If I was you, I would NOT pull the clutch in and lean far back…
@@SedlakOffroadSchool Gotcha, did rocks on my CRF450L and my friend said the same thing as you, 2nd gear, leave the clutch and it worked a treat. Riding the 1200GS next week and we're hitting rocks so I was looking for a refresher. I live near the sand, not a rock in site unless I ride 4hrs.
No one eles seen the bike take a crap 😂😂
Do you think the ibex 800 is a good bike who's short and hasn't been riding in many years? It will probably be mostly commuting to work on the highway and doing some road trips with overland camping too. Thanks!

Ouch 😮
Very HELPFUL all your video. Thank you
Another one who's full-fisting the throttle (doesn't keep a finger on the brake) that ends up in whiskey throttle.
Why do guys crash these big pigs? Because the bike is huge and heavy and unwieldy. Who ever said" I would sure like to have the biggest widest heaviest bike possible in the dirt" Marketing, Chris Birch, KTM pushing big twins, every seller of big twins pushes these huge things as the way forward, if your any kind of man you ride a big bike. These huge bikes can and do break bones.
