  Clean the hole best you can, put a small dime of MIG or TIG weld in the hole, carefully grind the high spot down, have the block surfaced, MAKE SURE THERES NO GRIT LEFT, put the machined head and new gasket on.

  cant believe you guys only have 1k subs. you guys inspire me to get my miata back up and running and ready for this drift season. i have a mk1 1.8 (US) and i blew up the original motor at a track day. bought a forged 1.8 and centrifugal supercharger for the car 3 years ago. hopefully this month itll be back and alive! keep the videos coming please !

  S13 T25 with an extended billet wheel Near instant boost response and lovely power for this kind of driving, would go bigger if you want to run more power and high revs

  ⁠​⁠@@RearAxleDivergence S13 used to have something like a 2554? I have a 2560 on my 1.6 but boost comes after 3500rpm :(

  @@geopourosdepends who you ask since they didn't really have a number back then but I think its usually referred to as a 2552 maybe? Either way VERY small The modern 2554s would be a good step I think. Similar low end but better top end! 2560 is what I'd go for if aiming for 250hp and accept a bit of lag

  @@ScottToomeyy And theres LOADS more of em now, so you wont worry about smashing it up a bit! I do have to add though MX5s are super fun!!! but for a 1st drift car id go with a BMW personally. (well i used a old merc, because steering lock! lol, got in an e46 after it and was gobsmacked how easy it was to drive! haha)

  Rad bro ... 180 na is radical bro and i can imagine how fun it is ... i went the lazy way and boared over n forged a 1.6 and boosted it to 34psi and about 400hp 😅 but stupid unpredictability at that power to weight so tbh your setup is prolly the best possible for what you are doing with the car .. cheers to that bro .. much love and respect brotha peace stay safe and have fun brotha
