    I know this is severely needed, just comes as a we all gear-up in western N.C. for another trout season. Pls canvass other fisheries for an ample supply until repairs completed and hatchling ready to release. Thank you.

    What needed to be aircraft enforcement and can you move from a wild life officer to an aircraft pilot enforcer..just curious

  • @NCWildlifeResourcesCommission

    Pilots have to have at least 7 years experience as a Wildlife Law Enforcement Officer. The pilot positions are very limited and we currently only have two positions in the state.

  • @kueyang541
    @kueyang541Ай бұрын

    @@NCWildlifeResourcesCommission ok but what needed to become one beside 7 years experience, like do the pilot only need private pilot license or the while 9 yards like commercial

  • @NCWildlifeResourcesCommission

    @@kueyang541 No, if they are chosen for the Pilot position the NCWRC will pay for them to get their pilot license.

    How old me might a box turtle live to be. What is known as to oldest ever?

  • @NCWildlifeResourcesCommission
    @NCWildlifeResourcesCommissionАй бұрын

    Box turtles commonly live 25-30 years in the wild but have been known to reach ages of 40-50 years old. There are records of box turtles living more than 100 years but this is probably rare.

    You should have planned to get more trout from other locations to make up for the deficit. You're already not stocking enough fish now. The demand increases exponentially every year. I understand the need for the renovation. It's way past due! It's just going to be irritating to have less fish available, considering you don't do anything to prevent or minimize poaching.
