I am having trouble getting the D string bend on the riff to sound like yours, any tips on that?
@aaronbjorgeguitartutorials97703 жыл бұрын
So in this case, you want your bent note, at the top of the bend, to be the same pitch as the note that's a half step higher. Practice this by playing the "A" (7th fret note), and actually sing the note while playing it. Be sure you're matching the pitch. Keep humming/singing it, without changing the pitch, then try bending the 6th fret note all the way until it matches the pitch of your voice, which should still be an A. If that's too tricky, then just try to bend the string until it matches what you think the A pitch is, then compare it by quickly playing the unbent 7th fret note. You want the bent pitch to match the A, so just keep practicing the bend (slowly and carefully at first, you can build speed later) until you can consistently match with the A. Hope that helps. Keep working on it!
