  Plz give them almonds after check. Plz taste almond is sweet or not. If almond is not sweet then it contains small amount of poison. It can cause death tou parrots and birds

  My husband just bought our daughter love birds. I am a cat person and know NOTHING about bird care. We don't have a big cage right now, we will get one. They are near-ish the window, could be closer. But only one chirps and not often. Does it take some time for them to feel comfortable? I think that they are scared of us because they are cuddled in one corner of the upper cage and not really move around. I am playing some nice Bossa Nova Jazz for them to feel relaxed. Also, it is hot here, maybe 90 degrees outside, so I have the AC on. How cold is too cold for them! And finally, do they need to make a nest?

  It depends what kind of plucking it is the burd could be molting or just grooming itself if the bird has small bald patches then thats called feather plucking that happens when they are bored or stressed and can quickly become a bad habbit. What i reccomend is make or buy foraging toys to keep them entertained change their toys one a month so they wont get bored with the same toys but first try to find out why the bird feather plucks if its stressed and the house is loud try to keep it quiet if you have any other pets like cats or dogs keep them away from the bird if the bird feather plucks because its just bored then give them new toys every once a month that should help :)

  samtha kaine sorry for late response, but my bird used to always clean himself, then we got another bird to keep him company when we're away and now they only do it together and maybe do it 1-2 times a day now, so I suggest getting another bird since it gives him/her company and doesn't get bored and begin to pluck feathers.

  Its Highly not Recommended covering ur bird in towel. Ur making ur bird struggle and stressed before sleeping with a wrappedTowel. Or putting towel in ur birds nest. I prefer letting ur bird make its own nest like mine. So it can feel it self at home And comfortable

  What kind of bird ? anyway when a bird sleeps a lot or fluffed up all the time it means usually that he's sick and need to see a vet ! a bird should be singing playing eating not sleeping, please check him out.

  Wtf?! Do u guys know ANYTHING ABOUT BIRDS?! That cage is an okay size but only has 1-2 perches and NO TOYS. That's not healthy. U should be ashamed to keep a bird in such standards

  with a dark towel, at the same time every night :) eventually the bird should figure out that the towel means bedtime and will get ready for sleep when they see it cover their cage
