The Dumbstruck Fool Sez.... - Nothing to do with the content of this week's episode or with rock music for that matter, I must first and foremost say REST IN PEACE to the fabulous Bob Newhart! His classic album, The Button-Down Mind of Bob Newhart, as well as his epic 1970's TV series, both make me laugh out loud to this day. He was and is a legend. - Spears vs. The Osbournes: "It's Britney, bitch!" It is also the pot calling the kettle black when both Britney AND Ozzy have been respective hot messes for years. And here's an idea....if the Osbournes find Britney's video so "sad" and "heartbreaking" then DON'T WATCH THEM. I am waiting for Sebastian Bach to get involved in this somehow. - The Osbournes vs. Dickinson: No disrespect to Sharon and all that she went through with cancer...I lost my dad to cancer and I would not wish that on my worst enemy, BUT....come on....a waste of breath and groceries. If you're going to hurl tomato soup at somebody, you had best have a grilled cheese sandwich to go along with it. Or at least some oyster crackers. Damn. - Chris Jericho: He and Brent Smith should team up and do motivational speaking engagements. I only saw Shinedown live once but every time Brent spoke to the audience, I kind of felt like I was in church. - Dizzy Reed: Admittedly I got massively confused with this story because my mind immediately went to Dizzy Dean Davidson of Britny Fox. I really didn't follow Guns N' Roses very closely after Appetite for Destruction so I thought I missed something semi-major. OH...Dizzy REED. Nevermind. - Mike B's movie recommendation: Just imagining all the families out there who search streaming services for animated movies like Kung Fu Panda (and/or their knock-offs) for their kids and Kung Fu and Titties pops up as a related title. And no apologies for the use of the term "pops up".

Shane Im a Luddite, feck knows how patreon works, but I'll leave a request here. It's a band from Sweden called Zombiekrig. The song... Do for fan. Record version or there's a live version I could give a link to which ever is your preference. I have been searching for a band that has " death metal" style vocals that I could like and so far the only band I can listen to. Cheers Mr Diablo 🤘

No Rest for the Wicked is their 3rd album, the 4th is Walking the Razor’s Edge. They had two lesser known albums in 1979 called Breaking Loose and in 1981 called White Lace and Black Leather.

Saw them in Atlanta. Great show/. Like were a lot like the Galactic Cowboys (also in the KIngs X vein of songs, harmonies and 12 string basses). Signed as grunge was coming in and the labels didn't know what to do but let them die.

Kill to survive is my fav album from Meliah Rage. Best track, “enter the darkness. These guys I believe are from Boston, Mass. True story, I once sent them a fan letter, they actually wrote me back! Not one, but two hand written and signed letters from two of the band members. Freakin awesomeness! Wish I still had them.

Hard to believe that Sammy will be 77 years old this year. It's tough to watch the heroes of your youth get old and pass away (RIP Eddie). But God Bless Sammy and Michael Anthony, and may they continue to rock the stage for many more years to come (Satriani & Bonham too of course).

I’m a man and I certainly appreciate the color pink along with cream, and 69 is a great number for obvious reasons, but also since I was born in 1969, but that name has to change If this band wants to be taken seriously. The song is pretty decent, the name is pretty lame.

I like their droney parts. I hear a bit of Killing Joke in those ND songs. I think they're friends with them or at least influenced. Also Crass influenced them I think. I really like their lyrics, the peaceful anti-authoritarian stuff ☮️⚖️✌️🕊️🌍🏴‍☠️📣

Saw these guys in June of 1988 on Van Halen's Monsters Of Rock tour. They were the first band to play that day and they were pretty good, even though that got tagged with the moniker "Kingdom Clone" because people thought they sounded too much like Led Zeppelin. They were followed by Metallica, who were pissed off and hungry 24 & 25 year olds well on their way to conquering the world and achieving legendary status. I was new to the really heavy stuff (I was a huge Van Halen fan at the time), so it struck the fear of god into me when James Hetfield told the crowd to sing along, and instructed the rabid fans "to reach down their throats and rip the words out" if someone didn't know the lyrics (that was me at the time). I soon became a rabid Metallica fan myself after purchasing "And Justice For All" which came out later that summer.

well, not industrial metal, but interesting/ different sound, I would say Scorn (also on Earache)..from Mick Harris, he was the original drummer of Napalm Death with Broadrick..electronic, trippy, dark and very addictive..kzread.info/dash/bejne/X558tptuoMesqMo.html
