  In some parts of African culture, it’s disrespectful to look elders directly in the eyes. If he’s close to his African roots, then the reason he’s looking directly into someone’s eyes is to demonstrate I am not afraid of you. I assume he respected the rest or was trying to hide his fear from them subconsciously. He’s just more cautious with them for some reason. Is that apparent with his opponents in the video? I know for sure he didn’t respect Cormier.
