  For me it would be easy as I own an AEM stand along ECU and numerus Hondata's. Swap stock ECU in get SMOG check swap back after. What really makes it easy for me is I don't live in CA, and where I do live, we don't even have SMOG checks in my area.

  how do you know which motor you have, m157 or m278 on a 2013 mercedez bens s 550 twin turbo?

  State 3 is wrong, on stock turbos and E85 I made 655whp with awd, with M157 turbos I would be around the 750whp area

  LAMBDA is how most of us tune, its simply a percentage of stoich. If stoich is 14.7(pump gas) air fuel ratio. then 1 LAMBDA is equal to 14.7 Air fuel ratio. .9 LAMBDA would be 10 percent more rich than 1 LAMBDA, and 1.10 LAMBDA would be 10 percent lean. LAMBDA is easier to use when tuning because 1 LAMBDA references whatever Air Fuel Ratio your ecu is trying to target, if your target is 12.5 Air Fuel Ratio(or .85 LAMBDA) at wide open throttle and your wideband reads .83 LAMBDA, you are 2 percent rich over your targeted air fuel ratio. in this case your Volumetric Efficiency table, or MAF table (depending on the vehicle) will need to be adjusted by 2 percent. trying to tune in Air Fuel Ratio requires you to calculate what percentage you are off from the targeted Air Fuel Ratio, and gets more confusing when you are tuning for different fuels. LAMBDA shows you this error plain as day in an easy to understand percentage.

  hello, I am about to buy an s63 coupe from February 2016 French version, have the problems been resolved? The car has 124,000 km, there have only been 4 services in total at Mercedes, every 25,000 km, I think it's not much, but apparently the previous owners followed the manufacturers' recommendations. Is it serious to have only done oil changes every 25,000 km? I am not a mechanical expert, how would I know if the vehicle has problems? THANKS

  Did your car only have one? I have dual in my E300 and they want around 1k for a set. I have the upgraded audio with everything except active rotating tweeters. It’s ok but I want a lot more from the system in my 2018 E300.

  Do you know how to update the command ntg 5.1 infotainment system? phone sound is not coming while blue tooth sound radio sound all are working .but if i call someone they cannot hear me nor i can hear them. i guess software update will help

  How do I know what NTG version I have? My car is a 2014 C-Class Sedan 4matic with Comand Navigation. Apparently MB doesn't offer an unlock for my unit to enable CarPlay. I like the many options you discuss - is there someplace I can learn more? Thank you for the great video! FYI - I have been using a NavTools unit that was professionally installed to work with my original head unit. It uses bluetooth wireless, which just stopped working so it's effectively a brick now.

  you can use this software to edit your tunes and datalog your car to ensure proper function in areas of monitoring. if you would like i can tune your car or code it for example no seatbelt warning lower ride height video in motion.

  Your videos are always thorough. I agree 5 minutes after reaching operating temperature is not long enough to get a clear reading. Time wise it’s somewhere in the middle of when the temperature needle moves from 90 degrees. Did you say to remove the oil cap? And did you cause any damage when you added oil on your trip?
