    Oohhh this vid is old but im so mad. How can someone be stupid enough to make wrong decisions like this then blame everyone but their own dumb self?! Theres so many warnings before you take T, no one forced T on her and no one forced her to get too surgery.

    The three common threads for each story: number one is about chasing acceptance in finance, the second is about chasing acceptance in a relationship, the third is about acceptance in religion. There’s a nihilistic approach that each one has its shortcomings.

    Very odd movie :( Other than Poor Things (Possibly more for Emma Stone) I have not liked Lanthimos movies. He is an overrated director, at least personally.

    If you’re a fan of the first two movies you’ll give this movie 0 stars. The movie was terrible. It’s about a sick woman on her side quest to get pizza. The movie does not explain anything about the origins of the aliens and the story has no direction.

    Spoiler warning I had a small issue with the climax. I felt that when the characters finally ate pizza and found peace, it was a bit underwhelming as a climax. It provided some closure, but not much more than that. I wish there had been a more significant climax, but I'm still happy with how it ended. I would rate it a solid three out of five.

    Finally caught this. Good debut from Dev, I was really impressed! The final act is a bit messy if I'm nitpicking, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought he added enough to the film to stand out from other action movies.

    I was a big cynic when I watched Inside Out, but this movie actually gives me hope for Pixar. If they can still do good sequels, then maybe it's not such a bad thing that they're only going to be focusing on sequels and spinoffs from now on? Eheh.. eheheh

    I feel like inside out would do great as a series as opposed to movies because it would be nice to see little short stories regarding Riley’s every day life with sneak peaks inside of her head

  • @blackqweenmars
    @blackqweenmars8 күн бұрын

    This film hits different when your first few months of being a teenager were mostly spent in the midst of a world pandemic after just moving. Moves two days after turning 13 and the virus started four months after that so I never got to have that authentic teenage experience because it was spent in a mask being forced to be in my house because the government wouldn’t let us go anywhere unless we really had to. I would’ve really liked to see what Riley‘s teenage years would be like if she was in a pandemic instead of having a normal high school experience.

    I think Poor things was OK. Dont hate it, dont love it. I liked it ok. All Yorgos films makes me feel like he and I don't share the same sense of humor, like all the funny bits they dont quite land for me (some do, but not in general), i's most awkward than anything, his earlier work. What i really don't appreciate is if they beat a dog to death or any other graphic animal abuse, anything else flows in the absurd river. I really want to watch kinds of kindness just because the visual style seems modern and like a work of fiction or something David Lynch could find interesting. The visuals and the colors and the cult and depravity, the american psycho vibes of the first part are calling me to see this.
